STRAPPING APPARATUS
A strapping apparatus for strapping articles with a strapping band having a tensioning device for imparting a band tension to a loop of the strapping band, the tensioning device including a driveable tensioning element provided for engaging the strapping band to impart a band tension. The strapping apparatus including a connecting device for generating a permanent connection, in particular a welded connection, at two regions, situated one above the other, of the loop of the strapping band. The strapping apparatus is configured to achieve the release of the tensioning element from the strapping band reliably to avoid or reduce adverse characteristics attributed to the release of the tensioning device from the band.

STRAPPING TOOL
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a strapping tool configured to tension metal strap around a load and, after tensioning, attach overlapping portions of the strap to one another by cutting notches into a seal element positioned around the overlapping portions of the strap and into the overlapping portions of the strap themselves.

SELF-LUBRICATING TIE-DOWN
A self-lubricating tie-down includes a frame including two walls, a reel, two ratchet wheels, two detents, a short strap and a long strap. The frame includes two walls each of which is formed with a bushing. The handle includes two blades each of which is formed with an aperture. The reel includes two terminal sections inserted in the bushings. The two ratchet wheels are connected to the reel. The first detent is movable on the frame and operable for engagement with the ratchet wheels. The second detent is movable on the handle and operable for engagement with the ratchet wheels. The short strap includes an end connected to the frame. The long strap includes an end connected to the reel so that the reel is operable to wind the long strap. Each of the bushings includes at least one recess and lubricant filled in the recess.
Strapping device having a pivotable rocker
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a mobile strapping device for strapping packaged products using a loop of wrapping strap. The strapping device includes a tensioning device for applying tension to the strap and a connecting device for connecting two overlapping portions of the strap. The tensioning device includes a rotatable tensioning wheel and a tensioning plate. The tensioning wheel is supported by a rocker that is pivotable to change a distance separating the tensioning wheel and the tensioning plate. The mobile strapping device includes a motor that is operably connectable to the rocker or the tensioning wheel such that the motor causes pivoting of the rocker or rotation of the tensioning wheel when operating in a first direction of rotation. In various embodiments, gearing, including a plurality of planetary gear sets, is used to operatively connect the motor to the rocker and the tensioning wheel.

Relaxation device of cardboard strapping machine
A relaxation device of a cardboard strapping machine includes a connector being movably extended into a top holder. When the connector retreats from a connective channel in the top holder, a middle pressure lever descends to loosen the overlapping straps, so that the overlapping strap is not pulled by the retracted connector to cause misalignment, the adhesion area is complete, and its adhesion strength is good. In contrast, a cardboard pile cannot be fastened by the strap, which is deformed by a drag force when a counter-pressure plate is pulled back, through a traditional strapping machine for bundling cardboards. Furthermore, another forcibly pull-off implementation will weaken the connection strength at an overlapping portion of a strap head and a strap tail of the strap.
