Pack of tobacco industry products including an adhesive-free region
A pack having a group of tobacco industry products wrapped in a laminate to form a bundle is disclosed. The pack has a base containing the bundle, and a lid mounted to the base for rotation between open and closed positions. The laminate has an outer layer having a first cut that defines an outer layer region bounded by said first cut and, an inner layer having a second cut that defines an inner layer region bounded by said second cut. The inner layer region lies within the outer layer region. A part of the outer layer region is attached to an inside surface of the lid such that, as the lid is rotated into its open position, the inner and outer layer regions are lifted causing the inner and outer layers to delaminate in a peripheral region between the first and second cuts and an opening to be created in the laminate.

Spacer Support for Packets of Smoking Articles, Spacer Kit and Package Containing Said Spacer Kit
A spacer support for packets of smoking articles comprises a plurality of through housing compartments to receive at least one packet and having a pair of apertures on opposite sides for introducing or extracting the packets, and wherein the spacer support also comprises a pair of lateral walls having a plurality of opposite windows, and a pair of connection walls which extend between the connecting lateral walls. A plurality of positioning elements and a plurality of said access openings are disposed alternately one after the other, in succession in the longitudinal direction (X), so that each housing compartment is delimited by the pair of opposite lateral walls and by said positioning elements so as to stably retain inside them each of said packets in a static manner, in the longitudinal direction (X).

Folding Unit and Method for Forming an Empty Cardboard Box by Folding a Blank around a Mandrel
Folding unit for forming an empty cardboard box; the folding unit has a mandrel, around which a blank is folded to form the empty cardboard box. The mandrel has at least two parts, which are mobile in respect to one another between an expanded configuration, in which the two parts are further from one another so as to confer a maximum size to the mandrel, and a contracted configuration, in which the two parts are closer to one another so as to confer a minimum size to the mandrel.

SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING A GROUP OF COMPONENTS OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES FROM A FIRST OPERATING STATION TO A SECOND OPERATING STATION
A system for transferring a group of components of electronic cigarettes from a first to a second operating station includes a conveyor extends from a feeding zone to a disengagement zone and has a plurality of seats. A feeding device receives the components and feeds them into the seats at a first mutual distance. A disengaging and transferring device operates to disengage the components from their seats and transfer the components to a collecting zone. A compacting device operates in the collecting zone to move the components closer together and place them at a second mutual distance that is smaller than the first mutual distance. A tray faces and receives from the collecting zone the group of components which have been placed close together. A pushing device pushes the components from the collecting zone into the tray. A movement device transfers the tray to the second operating station.
