Method for the parallel production of shingled portions with different number of slices and suitable slicing machine
In order to prevent a slice from being separated from each log during the last cut in the case of multiple portions produced in parallel, that is to say there is no unproductive cut in the last cut, as is required, for example, in EP 2942165 B1, the basic idea is to already provide an unproductive cut for at least one log during the first cut for the simultaneously produced portions, wherein a distinction must be made in the following procedure whether or not separately controllable portioning belts are present per lane and whether the portion lengths should be the same or not despite different numbers of slices.
BULK CHEESE BARRIER BAG
A multilayer film and a pouch made therefrom is disclosed. The film having an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer-based barrier layer and an outer layer made from at least 95 wt % of a branched ethylene copolymer. The branched ethylene copolymer being 50 mol % or more ethylene, 50 mol % or less of a C6 to C8 alpha-olefin comonomer, and at least 0.001 mol % of a remnant of a metal hydrocarbyl chain transfer agent. The film including substrate layers between the barrier layer and each outer layer. The film having low oxygen transmission rate and a low a moisture transmission rate.
Apparatus and method for forming a hermetic package for creamy products
A method for forming a package for creamy products including the following steps: the formation of a tray starting from a first piece of wrapping material in such a way as to form a base and a continuous perimeter edge perpendicular to the base; dosing a predetermined quantity of creamy product into the tray formed; forming a lid for closing the upper opening of the tray starting from a second piece of wrapping material and positioning the lid formed in contact with the creamy product; the second piece has a surface for covering the creamy product and a raised perimeter edge extending from the covering surface and positioned to face the perimeter edge of the tray; a sealing of the package by sealing the lid to the tray obtained by partial sealing of the perimeter edges placed side by side of the tray and of the lid to the tray in such a way as to define at least a first perimeter zone of the edges sealed together and at least a second perimeter zone of the edges which are not sealed and communicating with the creamy product contained in the tray; a folding of the facing perimeter edges on the covering surface of the lid; a subsequent step of expelling any air present in the tray by pressing on the creamy product contained in the tray; and lastly a complete sealing of the folded perimeter edges in such a way as to define a complete sealing of the package obtained.
Line with freely programmable trays
A line having a food processing apparatus and a packaging machine between which a placement and transport apparatus is provided that has a plurality of tablet trays on which food products are placed and with which the food products are transported towards the packaging machine, the tablet trays move in a contact-free manner along a closed transport surface; a method for producing packaged food slices using the line, the food products are deposited onto the tablet trays and then transported towards the packaging machine; a method for cleaning the line, the tablet trays are lifted from the transport surface and the transport surface is cleaned with a cleaning liquid; and a method for cleaning the line, the tablet trays are removed from the transport surface and cleaned in a cleaning machine.
Food-processing system
A food-processing system for processing food products (e.g. pieces of meat, pieces of cheese) includes a cutting device for cutting the food products into slices and a conveyor for conveying the food product portions away from the cutting device along a main conveyor path. The conveyor fulfills several functions in the food-processing system, such as buffering, aligning, orienting and product formatting of the food product portions, by a discontinuous conveyor. The discontinuous conveyor includes at least one conveyed-products carrier movable along the main conveying path. The main conveying path is freely programmable within a conveying area.
