Packaging method and line for improved finished product
An overwrap feed station wraps a product with an overwrap material by drawing the overwrap material around the product to form a tube around the product as the product moves through the feed station. The feed station is configurable in first, second, or third configurations based upon a desired location of a longitudinal seal to be formed on the tube around the product. A first former is configured to guide the overwrap material through the entrance of the feed station so that longitudinal edges of the overwrap material overlap on a first side of the tube during wrapping of the product. The second former is configured to guide the overwrap material through the entrance of the feed station so that longitudinal edges of the overwrap material overlap on a second side of the tube during wrapping of the product. The third former allows forming the seal on the corner.
Bundled product and system
A shippable bundled product including a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle. The bundle is packaged by a second package material. The second package material has a shrinkage factor relative to the bundle of less than zero and the bundle has a size of 18 in. x 14 in. x 8 in.
UNIT FOR CONTROLLING OR MANAGING PRODUCTS
A unit for the control or management of articles includes a plant including an operating line including an upstream section for making the articles, including a log saw for cutting rolls off elongate logs, a packaging section including a packing section where the articles or rolls are packed, and a bagging section where the packs are placed in bags and/or a palletizing section where the packs or bags are placed on pallets. A conveying section transports products between the upstream section and the packaging section and/or between one packaging section and another downstream. A process controller controls the functioning of the plant sections. The unit includes a device for detecting and/or lighting a face of the product or pack and which is adapted to produce different images of the face, to exhibit different states of reflection of the light that is incident upon the face.
Hole punching and spindle stuffing after bagger
Embodiments are directed to methods, systems and packages for packaging the coreless paper products and accessory products. Embodiments include receiving paper products, receiving a container used for packaging the paper products, and packaging the paper products into the container. Embodiments also include inserting accessory products into a cavity formed by the paper products packaged in the container, and applying a label on the container to cover the cavity where the accessory products are inserted.
AUTOMATED CLOSING SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for an automated paper cone closing machine are disclosed. A paper cone closing machine may comprise a plurality of tamping rods, a pair of plates, and a plurality of ejection rods arranged above a tray shuttle. The plurality of tamping rods for compacting a material contained in a plurality of paper rolls removeably received in the tray shuttle in a row. The pair of plates for pressing on the top of each paper roll to flatten the top of each paper roll into a flap. The plurality of ejection rods configured to press on the flap of each paper roll to press the flap into a top of each paper roll into a dimple thereby closing each paper roll.
Packaged-body producing method
A packaged-body producing method that minimizes damage to packaged bodies due to constriction or the like and that enables formation of packaged bodies in various shapes is provided. The method includes a first step in which a plurality of packages 10 accommodating toilet paper rolls or the like are stacked, and recesses are provided at predetermined positions of the stacked form; a second step in which a packaging film 20 is spirally wound on the sides of the package stack form; and a third step in which the packaging film 20 is wound so as to cover the circumference, including an upper end portion and a lower end portion, of the package stack form.
PLANT FOR PRODUCING AND PACKAGING OF PAPER ROLLS
Plant for producing and packaging paper rolls obtained from the cutting of logs of paper material, including formation manners for the production of logs of paper material including winding of a predetermined amount of paper material, cutting elements for transversal cutting, packaging elements of the rolls for producing packages including a predetermined number of rolls and bundling or cartoning elements for bundling or cartoning the packages, where the elements for the production of the logs include a rewinder fed with the web of paper material wrapped to form the logs. The cutting elements, the packaging elements, and the bundling or cartoning elements are grouped into two modules on two superimposed floors of the plant downstream of the rewinder.
Method and Machine for Packaging Products in Wrapping Sheets
The machine for packaging groups of products in a wrapping sheet, includes a device for spreading a wrapping sheet and a handling device, adapted to reciprocally move a group of products to be packaged and the wrapping sheet, so as to wrap the wrapping sheet around the group of products as a result of the reciprocal movement between the wrapping sheet and group of products. The machine further includes temporary support members adapted to support flaps of the wrapping sheet protruding with respect to the group of products during a step of reciprocal movement between the group of products to be packaged and the wrapping sheet.
Machine and Method for Packaging Rolls and the Like
The machine includes a device for spreading a wrapping sheet and an elevator, adapted to move a roll to be wrapped with respect to the wrapping sheet, so as to wrap the wrapping sheet around the roll as a result of the movement between the wrapping sheet and the roll. The machine further includes members adapted to reduce the formation of creases in the wrapping sheet during the movement of the roll with respect to the wrapping sheet.
Process for operating a machine for wrapping products with a thermoplastic film
A working process of a machine for wrapping products in packages, carried out with a thermoplastic material film from a reel, the process comprising: reducing a transversal section of a hollow mandrel to be smaller than a transversal dimension of a bundle of products, positioning a sealing device in a position for sealing overlapped longitudinal edges of the film while forming a new tubular film casing, arranging two vertically mobile elements of a sealing and transversal cutting assembly in a closure position on the head portion of the new tubular film casing and on the tail portion of the tubular film casing of a finished package, and conveying the new tubular film casing away from the mandrel, and repeating the process so that the product placed inside the tubular casing by the mandrel is wrapped in a tight adherent manner due to the elastic retraction of the film.
