Wrapping device
A wrapping device to wrap an object in foil material including a frame, a wrapping table mounted on the frame and configured to support the object during wrapping, one or more roll support devices to support one or more rolls of foil material to be rotated about the object during wrapping, a carrying structure mounted on the frame and configured to carry the one or more roll support devices, and a clamping and cutting device to clamp the foil material after wrapping of an object, and to cut the clamped foil material, wherein the clamping and cutting device is mounted on the carrying structure, and wherein the carrying structure is pivotable about a substantially horizontal pivot axis with respect to the frame.
PAPER SHEET BINDING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, a paper sheet binding apparatus includes a pressing member(1) that presses object to be bound(T) with a plurality of paper sheets stacked in a stacking direction of the paper sheets to move the object to be bound in the stacking direction, a feed unit(20) that feeds a binding belt(f) in a direction orthogonal to the stacking direction ahead of a moving direction of the object to be bound, a press member(3,4) that folds the binding belt along a back end in the moving direction of the object to be bound which is pressed by the pressing member and around which the binding belt is wound while pressing the back end of the object to be bound, and a welding and cutting unit(7) that welds the folded binding belts with each other and cuts the same.
PACKAGING DEVICE AND PACKAGING METHOD
A packaging device (2) and a packaging method are for highly compressed bales (3) on a baling press (1). The packaging device (2) has a supply device (9) for a web-shaped packaging material (8) and a wrapping device (10) for attaching an annularly surrounding wrapping web (7) on the free side surfaces (32) of the compressed bale (3) which is held between compression rams (31). The wrapping device (10) is arranged with a transport device (20) movably relative to the compressed bale (3). The supply device (9) is arranged in a spatially and kinematically separate manner from the wrapping device (10), in particular in a stationary manner.
Method of packaging product units and a package of product units
A package of product units includes an entirely wrapped first product unit including a first product unit completely enveloped in a cover. An entirely wrapped second product unit (i) includes a second product unit completely enveloped in a cover and (ii) is disposed adjacent to the wrapped first product unit. A band disposed around the wrapped first product unit and the wrapped second product unit creates a secured product arrangement A wrapper completely envelopes the band, the wrapped first product unit, and the wrapped second product unit of the secured product arrangement to create a wrapped secured product arrangement, such that the wrapper directly contacts the band The wrapped secured product arrangement consists essentially of wrapped product units, the band, and the wrapper. The cover of the first product unit, the cover of the second product unit, the band, and the wrapper each comprises a plastic material.
METHODS OF PACKAGING PRODUCTS AND PACKAGING ARRANGEMENTS USING A SHRINKABLE PROTECTIVE COVER TO KEEP A GRAPHIC ON A BAND FORMED, INTACT, AND VISIBLE
A method of packaging products and a packaging arrangement. A first product unit is wrapped at least in a first protective cover. The first protective cover envelops the first product unit and creates a first wrapped first product unit. A second product is wrapped at least in a second protective cover, such that the second protective cover envelops the second product unit and creates a second wrapped second product unit. The first wrapped first product unit is arranged adjacent to the second wrapped second product unit to create a product unit arrangement. A band is formed circumferentially around the product unit arrangement to create a secured product unit arrangement. The band has at least one graphic. The secured product unit arrangement is wrapped in a protective wrapper. The protective wrapper is heated to shrink the wrapper around the secured product unit arrangement. The graphic remains intact and visible.
REINFORCED BAG FOR CONTAINING A BALE OF COMPRESSIBLE MATERIAL AND METHOD
A bag for containing a bale of compressed material is a sleeve formed from woven tapes of polymeric material having a sealed end and an open end. The sleeve has a first region where the tapes are woven at a first density and one or more second regions where the tapes are woven at a second density less than the first density. The first region is configured to, when the bale is introduced into the bag, be positioned on at least a portion of a length of the bale.
Systems, methods, and apparatus involving packaging
A method of packaging a product. The method includes wrapping a first product unit in a first protective cover, wrapping a second product unit in a second protective cover, arranging the wrapped first product unit adjacent to the wrapped second product unit to create a product unit arrangement, forming a band around the product unit arrangement to create a secured product unit arrangement, the band being printed with at least one graphic, wrapping the secured product unit arrangement in a protective wrapper to create a wrapped, secured product unit arrangement, the protective wrapper completely enveloping the band, and the first product and the second product unit of the secured product unit arrangement, and heating the protective wrapper to shrink the protective wrapper around the secured product unit arrangement.
Method for containing a bale of compressible material without straps
A method for containing a bale of compressible material includes compressing the bale of compressible material to form a compressed bale having a plurality of grooves in at least one side thereof. The grooves are recessed from an outer surface of the compressed bale. The compressed bale is transferred to a flexible container. The container conforms to a shape of the compressed bale such that at least some portions of the flexible container take the shape of the grooves to define container portions recessed from the outer surface of the compressed bale. A containerized bale made by the method is also disclosed.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTAINING A BALE OF COMPRESSIBLE MATERIAL WITHOUT STRAPS
A system for compressing and containing a bale of compressible material includes a bale box and opposing compression plates, one or both of the compression plates moving toward the other of the compression plates in a compression direction. The bale box includes stationary side walls that define a bale box perimeter around the compression plates. At least two of the stationary side walls have ribs formed therein extending inwardly of the bale box. The ribs extend along the at least two side walls in a direction parallel to the compression direction. The ribs form grooves in a compressed bale in about 50 percent to 70 percent of a surface of the compressed bale in which he grooves are formed.
INSULATING PACKAGE
A package comprising compressed mineral wool insulation blowing wool fibres held by at least one retainer is configured to expand substantially along a single expansion axis upon release of the retainers.
