DEVICE FOR JOINING FILTER BAGS WITH INFUSION PRODUCTS
A device for joining filter bags includes two operating units located on opposite sides of a continuous tubular strip of filter material movable along a feed direction; each operating unit includes a supporting body, a sealing head connected to the supporting body and two kinematic units equipped with a corresponding eccentric rotary system for moving the supporting body along a first trajectory and to move the sealing head between a position of contact with the strip and a position away from the strip; each operating unit includes a carriage associated with the sealing head for and slidably connected to the supporting body to translate in both directions along a second trajectory.
Device for sealing an overwrap envelope
An overwrap envelope (7) containing a filter bag (1) for infusion products comprises a sheet (2) of overwrapping material folded into a U shape along its transversal axis (X) around the filter bag (1). The overwrap envelope (7) has two longitudinal sides (3, 4) and one transversal side (5) sealed by at least two sealing lines (6) which are uninterrupted along the longitudinal sides (3, 4) and along the transversal side (5). Each scaling line (6) is defined by two longitudinal stretches and one transversal stretch which are joined to obtain an uninterrupted shape and which form an uninterrupted perimeter seal.
DOSING DEVICE FOR FEEDING INFUSION PRODUCTS
A dosing device for feeding infusion products including a dosing drum rotating about an axis and positioned between a continuous strip of filter material, movable along a feed direction, and a primary hopper for containing a primary infusion product; the dosing drum has a plurality of radial chambers for receiving a first dose of primary infusion product from the primary hopper and for releasing the first dose of primary infusion product above the strip of filter material; the device also includes an independent dosing unit of a secondary product including controlled release elements configured for depositing a second dose of secondary product to define a mixed dose of primary product and secondary product.
Device and method for manufacturing a bag received in an envelope
The present invention relates to a device and a method for manufacturing a bag received in an envelope and containing a brewable material with a bag manufacturing means which is configured to manufacture a bag containing brewable material, and with a sealing station with a sealing jaw element and a counter-jaw element which act on the envelope from opposite sides to seal in the bag. The device is further developed for a reliable and safe manufacture of the packing unit consisting of a bag and an envelope by the sealing jaw element being fixed to a sealing jaw swivel arm at which a sealing jaw connecting rod is applied, and the counter-jaw element being fixed to a counter-jaw swivel arm at which a counter-jaw connecting rod is applied, and by the sealing jaw connecting rod and the counter-jaw connecting rod being each eccentrically connected to a common drive shaft of a servomotor. In the method according to the invention, the contact force between the sealing jaw element and the counter-jaw element is controlled via the torque of the servomotor actuating the sealing jaw element and/or the counter-jaw element.
DEVICE AND MACHINE FOR MAKING FILTER BAGS OF TETRAHEDRAL SHAPE
A forming tube for making filter bags of tetrahedral shape for infusion products including a forming element, which is elongate and hollow, which defines a longitudinal axis and which has a first opening through which the product enters in the forming element, a second opening through which the product leaves from the forming element to be dosed inside a filter bag being formed, and an inner through cavity which connects the first opening to the second opening and inside of which flows the infusion product. The forming element includes a main body substantially tubular including the first opening and a forming end including the second opening and mobile in rotation with respect to the main body about the longitudinal axis.
Sealant Imbued Infuser
An infuser comprises a container, at least one substance bounded by the container, honey in a semi-solid state bounded by the container, and a sealing substance. The container comprises a flexible material with pores. The sealing substance comprises dried honey, is disposed in the pores of the material, and has a higher melting point than the honey in a semi-solid state. The container and sealing substance are configured to resist substantial movement of the honey in a semi-solid state and the at least one substance through the pores of the material until the sealing substance reaches a temperature above the melting point of the honey in a semi-solid state.
Coffee Beverage and Methods
A single-serve coffee package has an outer envelope having one folded edge and three heat-sealed edges, comprising 95% by weight materials that are compostable and demonstrate bio-degradability, a filter bag fully within the outer envelope, having one folded edge and sealed edges, forming a closed envelope having opposite sides, each side comprising one layer of filter material, fully compostable and biodegradable, the filter material exhibiting a plurality of openings through the material, enabling water to pass through, the openings having no dimension exceeding a minimum dimension, a volume of grains of ground coffee within the filter bag, dimensions of the grains precluding coffee grains passing through the openings through the filter material, and an atmosphere of gas within the outer envelope, enveloping the filter bag and the coffee grains, the gas inert relative to materials exposed within the outer envelope.
MACHINE FOR FORMING FILTER BAGS FOR INFUSION PRODUCTS
A machine for forming filter bags for infusion products including a first movement carousel rotating continuously about a first axis of rotation; a plurality of first gripping means positioned along, and movable continuously with, the first carousel; a plurality of first operating stations positioned along, and movable continuously with, the first movement carousel; each first operating station is associated with a corresponding first gripping means; each first operating station is configured to operate on the piece of filter material in order to form, at least partly, a filter bag along a predetermined angular stretch of rotation of the first movement carousel; and a plurality of first translation devices, associated with the first movement carousel and configured for translating, mutually, the first operating stations and the corresponding first gripping means along a direction parallel to the axis of rotation.
