A gassing rail apparatus is provided to be used in a food packaging conveyor system. The gassing rail apparatus includes a rail top, a first and second gas port, an insert assembly located below the rail top, a gassing element located below the insert assembly, a rail bottom located below the gassing element, wherein the gas flowing through a slit in the insert assembly produces a high speed accelerated flow, and a flow of laminar gas is blocked by the rail bottom and forces the laminar gas flow laterally within the layer of gas resistant media of the gassing element with the effect of surrounding the accelerated gas exiting the gas distribution slot, wherein the accelerated gas tends to draw in laminar gas and not undesirable air, and the first gas source provides about 15-25% of the gas provided to the gassing rail apparatus and the second gas source provides about 75-85% of the gas provided to the gassing rail apparatus. In another embodiment, a single gas port is provided.

The gassing rail defines an inner side and an outer side with respect to the rotary capping machine, the gassing rail includes a generally planar body, an upper surface formed on the generally flat planar body, the upper surface having at least one cap gas or steam distribution slot defining a longitudinally extending cap path, the cap gas or steam distribution slot includes an infeed end and an exit end, a lower surface formed on the generally flat planar body, the lower surface having at least one container gas or steam distribution slot defining a longitudinally extending container path, the container gas or steam distribution slot includes an infeed end and an exit end, a bore extends through the gassing rail generally between the outer side and the inner side of the gassing rail, the bore defining a fluid passage having an inlet located at the outer side and an outlet located at an area of the inner side; and a fitting coupled to the inlet at the outer side, the fitting adapted to be coupled to a tubing supplying a source of gas or steam, whereby the source of gas or steam is routed from the outer side to the outlet at the inner side via the bore. The apparatus may be further configured to maintain a sanitized environment within the apparatus, perforator, and/or sealer.

The disclosure relates to the technical field of vacuuming devices, and provides an easy-to-use vacuuming device. A main body is provided with a first air valve and a second air valve, the first air valve is provided with a first bent pipe that is connected to a wide-mouth end, and the second air valve is provided with a second bent pipe that is connected to a standard-mouth end. A vacuum detector is connected to the first gas valve, the second gas valve, and a vacuum pump through a three-way connecting pipe. A standard-mouth vacuuming connector and a wide-mouth vacuuming connector are disposed at two ends of the main body of the vacuuming device. Different air valves are started for corresponding different connectors, to be easily connected to jar mouths with different specifications for use, and a vacuum detector monitors a working state, implementing automated monitoring and reminding.
