Apparatus and process for vacuum skin packaging of a product and a vacuum skin package
A process and apparatus can be used to vacuum skin package a product arranged on a support comprising providing a film portion above said support with the product being arranged between the support and the film portion; air tightly fixing the film portion to the support; removing at least a portion of air from a volume underneath said film portion through said at one nozzle inserted in an interspace between the film portion and the support.
Packaging apparatus with evacuation assembly and packaging process
A packaging apparatus includes a control unit, a loading station that positions a tubular film around a product to be packaged, a sealing station, a control unit that controls the sealing station to create one or more seals on the tubular film, an evacuation assembly that includes a first member and a second member arranged opposite the first member, and a means for moving the product relative to and from the evacuation assembly. The first member includes a deformable portion. The first and second members are relatively movable between: a first configuration, in which the first and second members are spaced apart from one another, a second configuration, in which the deformable portion contacts at least part of the second member and/or part of the tubular film, and a third configuration in which the deformable portion is compressed in a compression direction towards the second member.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO PERFORM QUICK VACUUM EVACUATION FROM UNIVERSAL SEALABLE VACUUM CONTAINERS OR WINE BOTTLES
A method and apparatus to perform effortless vacuum evacuation for food and wine preserving and meat marinating purpose. The vacuum method allows the apparatus to work with any food sealable vacuum container and wine bottle found on the market. The method also conveniently allows vacuum operation without using tubing to connect between sealable vacuum container and vacuum source. The food and wine vacuuming apparatus are of circular shape, which include vacuum chamber, vacuum source, control circuitry, vacuum switch, and solenoid release valve.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGE CONVEYANCE
A system for enhanced conveying of flexible packages includes a packaging system (12, 212), an inflation system (280), and a conveying system (250). The packaging system is configured to place an object in a flexible package. The inflation system is configured to insert a gas into the flexible package. The packaging system is further configured to seal an edge of the flexible package in an inflated state with the object and the inserted gas inside the flexible package. The conveying system is configured to convey the flexible package while the flexible package is substantially in the inflated state. The flexible package is configured to permit gas to escape the flexible package at a controlled flow rate such that the flexible package remains substantially in the inflated state while being conveyed by the conveying system and the flexible package transitions to being substantially in a deflated state after being conveyed by the conveying system.
Gassing apparatus and method for gassing a container
A gassing device for gassing a container includes a rotatable gassing rotor with a container receptacle for receiving the container and a feeding area for feeding a gas via a feed opening. The container receptacle includes a gassing nozzle flow-connected to the feed opening via a channel for gassing the container, and a stationary gas supply with a stationary supply opening arranged on the feeding area such that the supply opening can be flow-connected to the feed opening. The gassing rotor can be supplied with the gas from the gas supply in the operating state by moving the feed opening to the stationary supply opening by rotating the gassing rotor. The feeding area is connected without contact to the gas supply in the form of a labyrinth seal, so that the gassing rotor is rotatable relative to the gas supply in the operating state.
DUAL CHAMBER FLEXIBLE CONTAINER AND DRUG PRODUCT USING SAME
A multiple chamber container includes a first sheet; a second sheet; a first peel seal between the first and second sheets, the first peel seal extending across the first and second sheets; wherein at a first time at least one strong seal is provided around a periphery of the first and second sheets so as to leave an opening between the first and second sheets, and wherein a second peel seal is provided between the first and second sheets, the second peel seal extending across the opening between the first and second sheets; and wherein at a second time the second peel seal is removed and the at least one strong seal is extended to seal the opening between the first and second sheets.
METHOD OF MAKING DUAL CHAMBER FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
A multiple chamber container forming and filling method includes (i) forming at least one strong seal around a periphery of first and second sheets so as to leave an opening between the first and second sheets; (ii) forming a temporary peel seal across the opening; (iii) forming a mixing peel seal between the first and second sheets so as to separate a diluent chamber from a powdered drug chamber; (iv) adding diluent to the diluent chamber; (v) sterilizing the multiple chamber container including the diluent; (vi) opening the temporary peel seal in an aseptic environment; (vii) adding powdered drug to the powdered drug chamber through the opening; and (viii) strong sealing the opening so as to be closed.
Process of Packaging and Modular Packaging Facility for Packaging Products on Supports
A modular packaging facility has independent packaging units configured to receive one or more product loaded supports. The upper tool and the lower tool of each unit are relatively movable the one with respect to the other between at least a first position, allowing placement of the supports in the respective seats of the lower tool, and a second position, allowing coupling of a film portion of said film to said one or more product loaded supports received by the lower tool. Each unit has a vacuum arrangement and/or a controlled atmosphere arrangement and is configured to execute a packaging cycle wherein gas is removed and/or injected via holes in the supports and/or via nozzles placed between the support and the respective film portion. The process and the infrastructure may be used to contemporaneously process and pack supports of different types.
GAS-SEALED BODY WITH CUSHIONING FUNCTION
A gas-sealed body with cushioning function is adapted to be inflated by a processing machine. The processing machine includes an inflation bar and pressing wheels adjacent to the inflation bar. The inflation bar is to inflate the gas-sealed body. The pressing wheels roll on a rolling track of the gas-sealed body for conveying the gas-sealed body. The gas-sealed body includes an inflation channel, gas inlets, pillow structures, and gas chambers. Each gas chamber includes one or more gas inlets, one or more cushion-part gas column, and a main-part gas column. When each of the inflation inlets is inflated, the corresponding one or more cushion-part gas column and the corresponding main-part gas column are inflated and expanded in order.
VERTICAL PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A vertical packaging machine for packaging products is provided that includes a forming element with an upper mouth and a hopper upstream of the forming element. At least the hopper and the forming element form a conduit through which the product falls. A flow generator includes an injection device for injecting a gaseous fluid through a distributor for directing the fluid to the conduit. The distributer has an inlet mouth for receiving the gaseous fluid and an outlet mouth with an area smaller than the area of the inlet mouth. The injection device is controlled by a control device that is configured to cause the injection device to perform an injection for each product to be packaged in one and the same package, the start and end of which depend on the position of the product with respect to the upper mouth and the outlet mouth.
