Container Having A Supporting Structure Between A Closure Membrane And Lid
Container having support for a membrane (30) which is sealed (by sealing means or adhesive bonding) onto the inner side (41) of the container wall (40) of the container, particularly while the container is being filled with contents or by virtue of a positive pressure being introduced. The intention is to relieve the sealing of the membrane of loading, wherein the action of force during the filling operation from beneath is advantageous or easily withstandable. For this purpose, the container is provided with the container wall (40), a container opening (2), a lid (10), the membrane (30) and a supporting structure (20). The lid (10) closes the container opening (2). A portion of a membrane collar (31) of the membrane (30) is fastened on a portion of the inner side (41) of the container wall (40), a fastening region (33) therefore being formed. The supporting structure (20) has a supporting portion (21) and a carrying portion (22). The supporting portion (21) is assigned to the membrane (30) and the carrying portion (22) is assigned to the lid (10).
FILLER MACHINE
The present invention relates to a filler machine and method. The filler machine and method allow efficient and/or accurate filling of containers such as bottles, and have particular application to filling bottles or similar containers with carbonated beverages.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PACKAGING RESPIRING PRODUCE
A method of manufacturing a modified atmosphere package is provided which comprises the steps of: providing a portion of packaging material; providing a portion of produce; forming, from the portion of packaging material and the portion of produce, a closed package defining a package volume and containing in the package volume the portion of produce and a modified atmosphere. The modified atmosphere is modified with respect to the ambient atmosphere. The method comprises providing the modified atmosphere in the package volume by providing a gas mixture of at least one atmosphere modification gas and pressurised air in the package volume. An associated apparatus is also provided.
Packaging apparatus
[Technical Problem] A distance of a front free end portion of the gas nozzle being weighed down due to its own weight is alleviated or eliminated to suppress contact between the gas nozzle and a product. [Solution to Problem] The present invention provides a packaging apparatus equipped with gas replacement function. In the packaging apparatus, a gas nozzle 43 is inserted into a tubular film 20, and inert gas is ejected from the gas nozzle, thereby replacing the gas inside the tubular film with the inert gas. After gas replacement, a top sealing device 30 seals and cuts the tubular film to form a packaged body. The gas nozzle is formed of magnetic material. A permanent magnet 35 is disposed inside an endless belt 34 of an upper holding belt device 28. The gas nozzle formed of magnet material is drawn to be raised due to magnetic force of the permanent magnet. Due to this contact between the gas nozzle and a product is suppressed.
HYBRID METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING CONTAINERS
According to aspects of this disclosure there is provided a method for processing plastic containers comprising: i. Providing a container suitable for hot-filling; ii. Filling the container with heated or heatable liquid including water; iii. Sealing the container with a seal or cap to close the container; iv. Cooling the liquid in the sealed container to create a first headspace pressure within the container; v. Enclosing the cooled and sealed container within an open aseptic converter chamber, wherein the converter chamber comprises: 1. A sanitized environment; 2. Means for maintaining the sanitization of the container within the converter chamber; 3. Means for perforating or opening the cap or seal of the container within the converter chamber; 4. Means for sealing the opening or perforation within the converter chamber; and 5. Means for transporting or conveying multiple containers within the converter chamber. vi. Creating an opening in the seal or cap of the container within a sanitized environment of a perforator means or device for creating an opening in the seal or cap; vii. Increasing the first headspace pressure to a second headspace pressure within the container by the introduction of a sanitized fluid to the headspace of the container; viii. Resealing the container within a sanitized environment of a sealing means or device; ix. Transporting or conveying the sealed container from the sanitized environment of the converter chamber.
Device for sealing and cutting in a packaging apparatus, a packaging process and a packaging apparatus
A device for sealing and cutting a film in a packaging apparatus, a packaging apparatus including the device, and a process using the device are provided. The device includes first and second members, one or both of which are movable with respect to the other. One of the members includes an elongated blade, and one of the members includes a cutting means positionable in a plurality of positions. The process includes creating a first seal on a tubular film, thereby creating a semi-sealed package, creating a second seal on the semi-sealed package, thereby creating a sealed package, creating a substantially transversal cut in the tubular film, thereby separating the semi-sealed package from a subsequent portion of the tubular film, and creating an incision in a section of the first or second seal, the incision defining a pre-determined breaking zone in the tubular film of the sealed package.
PACKAGING METHOD USED IN BAG-FEEDING AND PACKAGING APPARATUS, AND THE BAG-FEEDING AND PACKAGING APPARATUS
[Problem] Providing a packaging method used in a bag-feeding and packaging apparatus, which can realize speed-up of the bag-feeding and packaging apparatus without limitation of movement acceleration due to the spilling or scattering of an article during movement and which can realize a larger amount of packaging in a short time, and the bag-feeding and packaging apparatus implementing the packaging method.
[Overcoming Means] In the packaging method used in a bag-feeding and packaging apparatus P in accordance with the present invention, packaging processes are performed while a packaging bag F is intermittently moved to packaging stations 1 to 9 together with a mover 32, so that an article is packaged, and the packaging stations 1 to 9 include an article (a fluid) filling station 5 where an article filling process of filling the packaging bag with the article is performed. In the article filling station 5, a bag mouth of the packaging bag F is closed before movement to a subsequent packaging station (a steam deaeration/seal part preheating station) 6 after the article filling process has been performed.
Filler machine
The present invention relates to a filler machine and method. The filler machine and method allow efficient and/or accurate filling of containers such as bottles, and have particular application to filling bottles or similar containers with carbonated beverages.
EVACUATION/FILL STATION FOR RADIOACTIVE FLUID CONTAINER PRODUCTION
A unit dose container production system (10) is disclosed where a unit dose container (130) is evacuated and thereafter loaded with a radioactive fluid while remaining at a single location. In this regard, the production system (10) uses a first conveyor (12) to sequentially load unit dose containers (130) into an empty container receptacle (24) of a second conveyor (20) at a first location (90). The second conveyor (20) may be operated to dispose a container receptacle (24) at each of the first location (90), a second location (100), and a third location (110). A unit dose container (130) at the second location (100) is evacuated and thereafter loaded with a radioactive fluid, and is thereafter moved to a third location (110) by the second conveyor (20). The unit dose container (130) is removed from the second conveyor (20) at the third location (110), and thereafter the radioactivity content of a unit dose container (130) may be determined, such as at an ionization chamber or the like.
