APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS
The present invention refers to an apparatus and process for packaging a product wherein a plastic film is tightly applied to a support. The plastic film is positioned above the support by means of a transport system; moreover, a stop structure or plate is active on the film portion present in the packaging station for enabling to efficiently hold the same.
MACHINE FOR THE VACUUM TREATMENT OF FOOD PRODUCTS
A machine for vacuum treatment of food products, which includes a base structure which defines a vacuum chamber which can be connected to a vacuum pump. At least one filtration device is interposed between the vacuum chamber and the vacuum pump and has elements for varying at least one thermodynamic/fluid dynamics parameter of the air flow aspirated by the vacuum pump; the filtration device includes at least one conveyor of the air flow, which is provided with elements for varying the advancement direction of the air flow and which is, with at least one part thereof, in a heat exchange relationship with a cooling circuit, and at least one collection manifold for collecting the water and the particles separated from the air flow.
Vacuum sealed container and method for using thereof
The present application discloses a vacuum sealed container, including a container body, a container lid, a vacuum generator, at least one magnifier and an indicator. The container body includes a first wall and a bottom surface, wherein the first wall and the bottom surface define an accommodation space. The container lid is coupleable to the container body. The vacuum generator is coupled to the container lid to evacuate fluid from the accommodation space. The at least one magnifier is coupled to the container body. The indicator is coupled to the container. A method for using the aforementioned vacuum sealed container is also disclosed.
System and method for purging oxygen from medical vials
A medical vial filling system is adapted to fill a medical vial with a solution and cap the filled medical vial. A purging system includes a manifold disposed between a filling station and a capping station. The manifold includes a filling inlet port and a plurality of output ports. The output ports are positioned in a space proximate the filling station and in a space over the transport mechanism. A stoppering block includes a capping chamber for receiving a bushing positioned at the capping station. The stoppering block comprises a stoppering inlet port, a first nozzle opening into the capping chamber and a second nozzle extending into the capping chamber and directed into the medical vial when the medical vial is position in the capping station. A supply of non-reactive gas at the filling inlet port directs flow of the non-reactive gas out the manifold outlet ports to evacuate air and substitute the non-reactive gas in the filled medical vial and at the stoppering inlet port directs flow of the non-reactive gas in a flood zone surround a space above the medical vials when the medical vial is positioned in the capping station and in a stream directed into the medical vial when the medical vial is positioned in the capping station.
ENZYMATIC LIGATION OF NUCLEIC ACIDS
Methods, assays, compositions and kits for the ligation of short polynucleotides are presented herein. The short polynucleotides are optionally no more than 7 nucleotides in length, and can be as short as 3 or 4 nucleotides in length. The ligation is optionally performed by CV ligase.
ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING BAGS
Disclosed in an assembly for forming bags, having a belt drive for feeding a film at a film speed to a former shoulder to form a tubular film, a set of jaws movable at a jaw speed to engage and seal a tubular film to form a closed bag, and a sensor assembly to provide a volume signal indicative of a volume of the closed bag, wherein the controller is configured to adjust at least one of the film speed and the jaw speed in response to the volume signal.
PLANT AND PROCESS FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS
The present invention is relative to a plant (100) for packaging products (P) arranged on a support (4), said plant comprising: a conveyor configured for moving a plurality of supports (4) along an advancement path (A); a plurality of packaging apparatuses (1), each configured for engaging a portion of a film (5a) with a support (4) for making a package (40); a transfer device (30) configured, in at least one operative condition, for transferring a support (4) from said conveyor (30) to a respective packaging apparatus (1). The transfer device (30) comprises: a guide (31) exhibiting a tract (T1) transverse to the advancement path (A) of the supports (4) and fixed with respect to said packaging apparatuses (1) at least when the transfer device (30) is in the operative condition; a displacement element (32) engaged with the guide (31) and configured for being moved, at least when the transfer device (30) is in said operative condition, along said tract (T1) and for intercepting a support (4) on the conveyor (20), moving it to the respective packaging apparatus (1). The present invention also regards a packaging process using said packaging plant.
Sealing station for sealing packaging units
A sealing station for sealing packaging units comprises a lower tool with at least one receptacle for a packaging unit and an upper tool. The lower tool and the upper tool are arranged to be movable relative to one another. The sealing station further comprises an edge extractor with at least one extraction opening for subjecting an interior of the packaging unit to a vacuum and/or a gas, and the lower tool comprises a lifting element for lifting a film cover of the packaging unit.
SEALING TOOL AND METHOD FOR SEALING TRAYS
A sealing tool for a tray sealing machine, comprising an upper tool and a lower tool with a main body having a tray depression for receiving at least a part of a tray to be sealed, and a tray carrier, wherein a gas channel runs through the tray carrier. The sealing tool is characterized in that the tray carrier comprises a first plate with a first pressing surface and a second plate with a second pressing surface and the first plate has a first depression which extends from the first pressing surface, wherein the first depression forms at least a section of the gas channel when the first plate and the second plate are pressed against each other at the first and the second pressing surface, respectively.
ATTACHMENT OF A TRAY GRIPPER OF A TRAY SEALING MACHINE
A tray gripper may be attached to a gripper arm of a tray sealing machine. For this purpose, the tray gripper is moved to a pre-assembly position by hooking the tray gripper onto the gripper arm. In addition, an eccentric is operated for exerting a clamping force upon the tray gripper that is disposed in the pre-assembly position, so that an attachment structure of the tray gripper is tensioned against an abutment structure of the gripper arm.
