STACKING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BINDING OPERATIONS
20170225812 · 2017-08-10 ·

A baling machine may be adapted for use in stacking packages to support binding operations such as strapping, banding or wrapping. A stack of filled packages is accumulated in a chute that is disposed above and in registration with a conveyor, with a baseplate disposed above the conveyor in registration with the chute. The stack of filled packages is released from the chute into a magazine disposed between and in registration with the chute and the baseplate, so that the stack of filled packages rests on the baseplate inside the magazine. The magazine then moves in a conveyor-forward direction to move the stack of filled packages off the baseplate onto a conveyor surface of the conveyor, and the stack of filled packages is released from the magazine to move forward along the conveyor toward a binding machine, such as a strapping machine, banding machine or wrapping machine.

METHOD FOR PACKING OBJECTS AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
20220234771 · 2022-07-28 · ·

A method, a packaging system, and use for packaging objects on a conveyor using a hose-shaped stretch foil of plastic material. A method, system, and use, where the hose-shaped stretch foil may be stretched around the objects in a horizontal manner. The packaging system comprises a first conveyor and a second conveyor where first and second conveyors are arranged for conveying objects from said first conveyor to said second conveyor. The system comprises a foil dispensing mechanism arranged in a space between the first and the second conveyor, and being arranged for dispensing a continuous hose-shaped foil onto said conveyed objects. The method comprises the steps of: conveying a first object and a second object via the first conveyor in a first conveying direction towards said second conveyor; conveying the first object through the foil dispensing mechanism, hereby arranging the hose-shaped foil onto the first object; conveying the first object from the first conveyor to the second conveyor; and conveying the second object in a direction opposite the first conveying direction by a predefined distance, hereby arranging an equal distance between said first object and said second object in said space between said first conveyor and said second conveyor.

PACKAGING MACHINE FOR PACKAGING PRODUCTS IN CARTONS AND METHOD FOR THIS
20220227512 · 2022-07-21 · ·

The invention relates to a packaging machine for packaging products (O) in cartons, wherein the packaging machine has a product feed for feeding products (O) to be packaged in cartons, wherein the products (O) have the length P, wherein the product feed has a stacking apparatus (111) that is embodied to at least stack a first group of products (O), which are positioned next to one another in a row with a length R, vertically above or below a second group of products (O), which are likewise positioned next to one another in a row with a length R, wherein the length R is a multiple of the length P, wherein a product slot (112) is positioned at the end of the product feed, at which product slot stacked rows of products (O) with the length R are collected, wherein a slide (113) with a length S is positioned at the product slot (112), which slide is embodied to slide the stacked rows of products (O) having a length that at least corresponds to the length S in an at least substantially horizontal sliding direction into a carton at a carton packing station, wherein the length S is shorter than the length R by at least one times the length P.

ARTICLE BOXING SYSTEM

An article boxing system includes an image processing apparatus, a first robot, and a first controller. The image processing apparatus detects edges of an article based on an image of the article. The image processing apparatus calculates information relating to a conveyance state. The first robot includes a hand unit and an arm adjusting three-dimensional coordinates and an inclination of the hand unit with respect to a conveyance direction. The first controller controls an operation of the arm to move the hand unit in correspondence with the information relating to the conveyance state and causes the hand unit to adsorb the article, when the article reaches an operation range of the first robot.

SEALING DEVICE FOR SEALING PACKAGES

Sealing device for sealing packages, the sealing device comprising a sealing station with a plurality of receptacles for packages, a transfer belt arranged upstream of the sealing station for transferring packages to the sealing station, a transport belt arranged upstream of the transfer belt for transporting and transferring packages to the transfer belt, and a feeding device for feeding packages to the transport belt, wherein the transport belt and the transfer belt can be driven independently of one another, and wherein the sealing device comprises at least one sensor, which is adapted to determine a distance between successively transported packages in the feeding device, and a control unit, wherein the control unit is adapted to determine a speed profile of the transport belt and a speed profile of the transfer belt based on a distance of successively transported packages measured by the sensor, and to control the transport belt and the transfer belt as a function of the speed profile so that the distance of successive packages during a transfer to the sealing station corresponds to the distance of adjacent receptacles for packages.

Launching system for robotic sausage loading machine

A system, and associated method, for launching and delivering separated food product in organized groups to a robotized packaging station for the product. The system initiates the delivery via a metered hopper of food product delivering the product to a launch V-belt that aligns the product end to end. A successive singulator belt, positioned adjacent to and receiving product from the launch belt, further organizes the product into a single file alignment. An optional separator belt may follow the singulator belt to create gaps between successive product units. The product is then delivered to a pick belt for product to be provided to the packaging robot. The system product information is from a single (per product delivery line) sensor, enabling intergrated end-to-end control from hopper to robot, and a nearly continuous motion of said pick belt.
