A component conveyance disk of a taping apparatus has a plurality of component transport units at an equiangular interval. Each component transport unit is formed of three component transport grooves in a peripheral portion of the component conveyance disk. Width direction centerlines of the respective component transport grooves are parallel to each other, with a portion thereof in a direction along the width direction centerlines opening toward a component storage chamber. Dimensions along the width direction centerlines of the opened portion of the respective component transport grooves are shorter than a length of the component. In addition, the respective component transport grooves have component guides that guide the components into the respective component transport grooves.

A control apparatus is provided. The control apparatus includes: a packaged medicine preparation unit discharging a bundle of packaged medicines in which a large amount of medicines are prepared by one capsule in a single dose to perform a post-process on the bundle of packaged medicines for a specific purpose based on a medicine dispensing request; and a post-processing unit introduced with the bundle of packaged medicines discharged from the packaged medicine preparation unit to perform the post-process thereon.

A control apparatus is provided. Described and depicted is an application apparatus for applying additional elements, in particular straws, to packages, preferably cardboard composite packages. So that the application can also be carried out reliably at high speeds and with moderate equipment complexity, it is provided that at least two applicators are provided which are adjustable along a common, circumferential transport track from a pick-up position for picking up the additional elements to an application position for applying the additional elements to the packages and back and which comprise respectively at least one application finger for pressing the additional elements onto the packages.

The first actuator is configured to urge the whole cucumber through the blade and cut the whole cucumber into spears. The spears drop into and are held by one of the cartridges. The second actuator is configure to push at least one of the spears out from the cartridge into the central open space of the jar.

A prescription handling system that takes filled prescription containers in an automated pharmacy and places them into a package for shipment is described. The handling system includes an inflow to feed containers to a turntable and a robot moves containers from the turntable to a container placement section, which places the containers in a pocket of a package for shipping. Each container for a prescription order is tracked to ensure that only associated containers are packaged together.
