HUMAN BODY ENHANCED TRAINING SYSTEM
A human body enhanced training system including a smart garment, a control module, a plurality of electrodes and at least one sensor. The smart garment is suitable for being worn by a person. When the smart garment is worn by the person, the smart garment covers at least a portion of the person's body. The control module is mounted with respect to the smart garment. The plurality of electrodes is operably connected to the control module. The plurality of electrodes is capable of stimulating the person's muscles. The at least one sensor is operably connected to the control module. The at least one sensor is capable of collecting physiological data.
THERAPEUTIC GLOVE FOR SUPPORT AND EXERCISE OF FINGERS AND WRIST
A wearer is able to exercise the posterior (flex) muscles of the hand. Elastic bands attached to the glove cause the fingers to contract toward the palm and provide resistance when the fingers are straightened. The elastic bands are secured by bandlettes attached to the fingers and thumb of the glove. Palmlettes are attached at the base of the palm to keep the bands clear of the palm while wearing, so that ordinary tasks can be performed while wearing the glove.
Method of gait evaluation and training with differential pressure system
There is described an integrated unweighted gait training system having an unweighting system comprising a computer controller; a gait measurement system in communication with the controller; and a display in communication with the computer controller adapted and configured to provide real-time feedback to a user of the integrated unweighting gait training system. The unweighting system may be a differential air pressure (DAP) unweighting system or a non-DAP unweighting system.
TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY IN COMBINATION WITH NEUROMUSCULAR STIMULATION
Provided is a method for treating musculoskeletal atrophy in patients suffering from a neurological or neuromuscular disease or disorder by combining testosterone replacement therapy with neuromuscular electrical stimulation of multiple muscle groups and, optionally, physical activity.
Control device for electrical stimulation apparatus, electrical stimulation apparatus, and pedaling exercise system
A control device for an electrical stimulation apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a control section that adjusts an output of an electrode and communicates with an angular velocity detector, the electrode giving electrical stimulation to a predetermined part of a body doing a pedaling exercise by rotating a crank, the predetermined part being at least one of a leg and an arm, the angular velocity detector detecting an angular velocity of the predetermined part, the angular velocity being accompanied by an operation of the predetermined part during the pedaling exercise. The control section adjusts, according to a result of the detection in the angular velocity detector, an output timing of the electrical stimulation of the electrode such that the electrode gives electrical stimulation to the predetermined part when a state of the operation of the predetermined part during the pedaling exercise is a predetermined operation state.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR REDUCING HEAD OR NECK TRAUMA
Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for the reduction of head or neck trauma in a living being by mitigating the acceleration experienced by the head, relative to the torso, during a change in motion; for example, creating a neck support that provides improved extension, compression, rotation, and bending properties to the neck in order to control the acceleration experienced by the head. The apparatus can be configured to create a neck support in which acceleration of the head, relative to the torso, is reduced with minimal structure, discomfort, and other potential downsides to the user of the apparatus.
Electrical stimulation device, training apparatus, and electrical stimulation method
Provided is an electrical stimulation device including a first to fourth electrodes, and an electrical stimulation generation section which supplies an electrical stimulation signal to each of the first to fourth electrodes. The electrical stimulation generation section supplies, to the first and second electrodes, an electrical stimulation signal according to a first stimulation pattern, and supplies, to the third and fourth electrodes, an electrical stimulation signal according to a second stimulation pattern. The first stimulation pattern is set so that an electrical stimulation signal for changing stimulation intensity according to a first waveform is supplied to the first electrode, and an electrical stimulation signal for changing stimulation intensity according to a second waveform is supplied to the second electrode, the second waveform being increased and decreased in conjunction with the first waveform. The second stimulation pattern is set so that an electrical stimulation signal for changing stimulation intensity according to a third waveform is supplied to the third electrode, and an electrical stimulation signal for changing stimulation intensity according to a fourth waveform is supplied to the fourth electrode, the fourth waveform being increased and decreased in conjunction with the third waveform. The electrical stimulation generation section alternately performs electrical stimulation of the first stimulation pattern and electrical stimulation of the second stimulation pattern.
