CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING FOOD PRODUCTS AND ASSOCIATED OPERATING METHOD
The invention concerns a conveyor system for formatting slice-shaped food products in product stacks. The conveyor system includes an inlet, a lower product conveyor, an upper product conveyor, a vertically swiveling distributor conveyor for distributing the incoming food products selectively to the lower product conveyor or to the upper product conveyor, an output conveyor receiving the food products partially stacked from the lower product conveyor and the upper product conveyor, and an outlet for outputting the stacked food products in product rows. The individual conveying tracks of the distributor conveyor can be swivelled vertically independently of one another in order to forward the incoming food products individually for each conveying track selectively to the lower product conveyor onto the upper product conveyor.
Method and device for packing strip-type objects, especially strips of chewing gum
The invention relates to a method and a device for producing and packing individual strip-type objects, especially strips of chewing gum, comprising the following method steps and features: provision of rectangular sheets from which the strips are to be formed, the length of the shorter sides of the sheets corresponding to the length of a strip to be formed; formation of individual strips from the sheets provided; packing of the formed individual strips using a first packaging material; formation of a group of the individual packed strips; and packing of the formed group of strips using a second packaging material. The step of providing the sheets comprises the following additional method steps and features: creation of grooves in the sheets, said grooves extending parallel to the shorter sides of the sheets; and controlled supply of the individual sheets successively in the longitudinal direction thereof to the following step of forming the individual strips, in such a way that each sheet adjoins the respective previous sheet in a precise position, without gaps and without back pressure. The step of forming the individual strips comprises the following additional method steps and features: respective separation of an individual strip from the sheet on the front end thereof in the direction of transport by tearing along the respectively frontmost produced groove such that the supplied sheet and the separated strip are in the same plane; and acceleration of the separated strip in the direction of transport in order to create a gap between the individual successive strips.
Method and device for packing strip-type objects, especially strips of chewing gum
The invention relates to a method and a device for producing and packing individual strip-type objects, especially strips of chewing gum, comprising the following method steps and features: provision of rectangular sheets from which the strips are to be formed, the length of the shorter sides of the sheets corresponding to the length of a strip to be formed; formation of individual strips from the sheets provided; packing of the formed individual strips using a first packaging material; formation of a group of the individual packed strips; and packing of the formed group of strips using a second packaging material. The invention relates to a device for moving portions each comprising at least one slice separated from a food product, in particular by a slicing device, in particular by a high-speed slicer, having a plurality of individually movable transport movers for transporting portions, having a track system for the transport movers, in which the transport movers can be moved along at least one specified track in a transport direction and having a control device for controlling the movements of the transport movers in the track system, wherein the transport movers each comprise at least one runner cooperating with the track system and at least one portion carrier mounted on the runner, wherein for at least one sub-section of the track, in particular a section at risk of contamination, a discharge device is provided which is designed to at least intermittently discharge next to the section, contamination and/or incorrect portions originating from the foods, in particular occurring when cutting the food products and/or during handling of the portions.

The invention relates to a system having a conveying apparatus for moving portions that each comprise at least one slice cut off from a food product, in particular by means of a slicing apparatus, in particular by means of a high-speed slicer; having at least one packaging apparatus for packaging the portions; and having at least one transfer device for transferring the portions from the conveying apparatus to the packaging apparatus, wherein the conveying apparatus comprises a plurality of individually movable transport movers for the transport of portions, a path system for the transport movers in which the transport movers are movable along at least one predefined path in a transport direction, and a control device for controlling the movements of the transport movers in the path system, wherein the transport movers each comprise at least one rotor cooperating with the path system and at least one carrier for portions attached to the rotor; and wherein the transfer device is configured to form a single-line or multi-line format set from a plurality of portions of different transport movers and to transfer the format set as a whole to the packaging apparatus.
Modified atmosphere packaging apparatus and method with automated bag production
An automatic packaging apparatus is provided, having a conveyor, a continuous longitudinally folded web, cutting and sealing mechanisms for forming flexible pouches from the web. The apparatus also includes processing stations for loading the pouches, transferring fluids (typically gases) into and out of the pouches, and sealing the pouches. Various alternative methods and devices are provided for separating each sealed pouch from the web by either making a continuous cut across a connecting strip of web material downline of the processing stations or pre-perforating the connecting strip upline of the processing stations. When the connecting strip is pre-perforated, a sealed pouch of sufficient weight may be separated from the web passively by a takeaway conveyor, and a lighter sealed pouch may be separated from the web by a tear-off mechanism that grips and pulls the web.
