POSITIVE EXPIRATORY PRESSURE DEVICES WITH FLUTTER VALVE
A positive pressure airway device for providing resistance in an air pathway for a patient exhaling. The device includes a central tube region, a inspiratory air passageway for passing air into the central tube region when a patient breathing through the device inhales, and an expiratory air passageway for passing air out of the central tube region when a patient breathing through the device exhales, A valve in the expiratory air passageway allows air to flow out only when a patient using the device exhales with an expiratory air pressure greater than a selected pressure, and includes a stopper and a coil spring with an interior portion that is free from any structure that would inhibit the side-to-side movement of the spring within the housing. The stopper has a cone-shaped air-stopping surface providing a valve angle that is different from, and is preferably slightly less than, the valve-seat angle.
Emergency evacuation oxygen mask
Proposed is an emergency evacuation oxygen mask provided with a hood configured to be worn on a user's head and an oxygen canister configured to supply oxygen to the user who wears the hood. The emergency evacuation oxygen mask includes an upper cover in which the hood is accommodated, a female coupling portion coupled to a lower end portion of the upper cover and connected to an oxygen supply port that is provided at the hood, and a male coupling portion provided on the oxygen canister and coupled to the female coupling portion, wherein when the upper cover or the oxygen canister is rotated, oxygen is discharged from the oxygen canister.
HYDROGEN-OXYGEN MIXED GAS INHALATION DEVICE
The invention provides a hydrogen-oxygen mixed gas inhalation device for improving the health condition of a user. The hydrogen-oxygen mixed gas inhalation device comprises a hydrogen supply unit, an oxygen supply unit, an air supply unit, a mixer connected to the hydrogen supply unit, the oxygen supply unit, and the air supply unit, a first compressor connected to the mixer, a flow controller connected to the first compressor, and a pressure vessel connected to the flow controller. The pressure vessel maintains an internal pressure higher than 1 atmosphere, and the user inhales the hydrogen-oxygen mixed gas with a necessary and sufficient flow rate inside the pressure vessel.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONTROLLED MULTI-MODALITY CHAMBER, COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A method of controlling an environmentally controlled chamber includes providing a chamber with at least one infrared heater, a screen configured to stream content, the screen positioned behind an insulating barrier comprising a substantially optically transparent portion, a camera configured to record a user and speakers within the chamber. The method includes sending the user's physiological and/or psychological data and environmental conditions within the chamber to a location remote from the chamber for monitoring, and changing environmental conditions within the chamber based upon the received physiological and/or psychological data or sensed environmental conditions from the location remote from the chamber.
Breathing adjustment apparatus
Disclosed is a breathing adjustment apparatus, comprising: a body provided with a breathing channel, the body being of a hollow tubular structure; a first opening disposed at one end of the body and configured to be inserted into the mouth of a user; a second opening in communication with the first opening, wherein the second opening is disposed at the other end of the body and configured for exhalation; and an inner core housed within the body for providing a breathing resistance; wherein air enters the body through the first opening and reaches the second opening through the inner core.
Hyperthermic conditioning capsule
A self-contained, hyperthermic conditioning unit and selectively controllable environment for exercising. The unit comprises a base portion having a bed therein and a removable cover connected to the base portion to enclose a personal compartment within the unit. One or more heating elements provide heat to the personal compartment and one more pieces of physical exercise equipment are provided within the personal compartment.
