METHOD FOR OPERATING A FLOW-WRAPPING MACHINE
A method for operating a tubular bag machine having a film web capable of unwinding from a supply reel, a shoulder for forming the web into a film tube, a take-off unit serving to move the tube, a longitudinal sealing device for welding the tube parallel to its transport direction by a longitudinal seam, a sealing device with jaws for producing transverse seams in the tube, a separating element for separating finished tubular bags from the tube, the machine being accelerated in a positive acceleration phase from an initial speed to a target speed when starting or being decelerated in a negative acceleration phase from the target speed to a final speed for stopping, wherein, in the positive acceleration phase and/or in the negative acceleration phase, at least one sealing parameter of the jaws for producing tubular bags changes as a function of the conveying speed of the web.
Hopper for collecting and dispensing discrete medicaments, outlet valve, dispensing device comprising said hopper and method
The invention relates to a hopper, an outlet valve, a dispensing device and a method for collecting and dispensing discrete medicaments, wherein the hopper comprises a hopper inlet, a hopper outlet and an outlet valve in the hopper outlet that is movable between a closed position in which the outlet valve blocks passage of the discrete medicaments out of the hopper through the hopper outlet and an open position in which the outlet valve allows passage of the discrete medicaments out of the hopper through the hopper outlet in a drop direction, wherein the outlet valve has a valve body that defines a holding surface at a side of the valve body that supports the discrete medicaments in the hopper outlet when the outlet valve is in the closed position, wherein said holding surface has a cross section for receiving the discrete medicaments.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FILLING BAGS WITH A QUANTITY OF DEAERATED PRODUCT BY MEANS OF A DEAERATOR INSERTED IN THE PRODUCT
The abstract of the application is being replaced with a new abstract which meets the requirements of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. No new matter is being added and all changes are fully supported by the application and the application from which it claims priority. A clean copy of the abstract is included with this filing.
SYSTEM FOR PACKAGING GOLF BALLS
Methods and systems for packaging a plurality of objects are disclosed. The system includes a base tray having a first end and a second end, an object reservoir positioned at the first end, a dispensing guide positioned at the second end, and a column guide disposed between the reservoir and the dispensing guide. The column guide is configured to convey objects from the reservoir to the dispensing guide using gravitational forces via a plurality of longitudinally extending guiding columns. A tilt tray having a front edge and a back edge is positioned above the column guide. The tilt tray has a front edge and a back edge, and is anchored to pivot between a forward-engaged position and a backward-engaged position. When the tilt tray is in the backward-engaged position, the back edge is positioned to prevent object movement along the column guide, while the front edge is positioned to allow object movement along the column guide and into the dispensing guide. When the tilt tray is in the forward-engaged position, the front edge is positioned to prevent object movement along the column guide and into the dispensing guide, while the back edge is positioned to allow objects to pass underneath the back edge. The system is sized and configured for packaging golf balls in interchangeable object containers.
Counter-filler apparatus for counting pharmaceutical articles and for inserting the articles internally of bottles
Filler apparatus includes plural descent channels receiving pharmaceutical articles falling from transport channels of a vibrating conveyor. Sensors detect the articles inside the descent channels. A container has a mouth receiving the articles from the descent channels, a first chamber with a first discharge, a second chamber with a second discharge, and a separating wall dividing the mouth into a first entry section, for the first chamber, and a second entry section, for the second chamber. The wall is disposable either in a first position, wherein the entry sections can receive articles from an identical number of descent channels, and at least in a second position, wherein the entry sections can receive pharmaceutical articles from different numbers of descent channels.
GRID FLAP
The present application deals with a grid flap, comprising a multiplicity of vertical and horizontal grid struts, a frame which surrounds the grid struts, wherein a vertical and a horizontal grid strut respectively overlap in a crossing point, characterized in that the crossing points of the grid struts are made of one piece. As the grid is self-supporting because of its topology (made of one piece) and the overlapping of two grid struts can be avoided, double areas or cavities can be avoided, which contributes to a hygienic design of the grid flap.
Flow regulation system for the filling of a sack with a granular product, and corresponding machine and method
A flow control system for filling a bag with a granular product, including an acceleration conduit with a metering side where there is arranged a metering device and a filling side for the bag. A control device with movable control blades and a first sensor is provided at an intermediate point of the conduit. A second sensor is provided on the filling side. The control device and sensors are functionally associated with one another such that the blades of said control device move among one position of said plurality of positions depending on if said first and second sensors detect an accumulation of granular product on said filling side which may delay the filling of said bag.
Packing equipment with two restraining members
There is presented a device and method for filling and advancing a series of containers including a first container and a next container. The device includes first and second assemblies having first and second restraining members respectively. The assemblies are positionable relative to each other in an object-receiving configuration in which the first restraining member and the second restraining member are inserted into the first container, and at least partially define a gap therebetween for deposition of an object. They are also positionable in a transitional configuration in which the second restraining member is raised relative to the first restraining member, and a lower portion of the second restraining member is positioned above and behind a leading internal face of the next container; and a container advancement configuration in which at least part of the second restraining member is in contact with and applying an advancement force to the leading internal face of the next container.
PACKAGING MACHINE
A packaging machine and apparatus for forming and filling plastic bags for containing dry food products such as cereals or the like. The invention comprising a product dispensing port over which a film enveloping the port may pass and an inner passage through which a product may be dispensed. The dispensing port comprises a pair of opposing flaps pivotally coupled to the outlet of the dispensing port which are movable between an open and a closed position.
PRODUCT DISCHARGE CONTROL DEVICE FOR A FORM-FILL-SEAL MACHINE
The invention relates to a discharge control device, comprising a hopper (1) receiving a metered product amount where it is deposited, discharge control elements (3) movable between a closed position and an open position by driving means, and a fill tube (2) connecting the discharge control device with a fill nozzle of the form-fill-seal machine whereby a bag is filled with product, wherein the driving means of the discharge control elements (3) comprise a motor (7) driving the movement of one of the discharge control elements (3), and a synchronizing connecting rod (9) synchronizing the movement of the discharge control element (3) driven by the motor (7) with the other discharge control element (3).
The invention allows filling bags reliably and more quickly.
