Automatic packaging machine (3) for filling a bag (1) made of heat-sealable material, having an open upper end (2) with a dose of loose product; the packaging machine (3) has: a packaging conveyor (4); a pick-up head (7), which is supported by the packaging conveyor (4) to advance along a packaging path (P1); an input station (S1) where the empty bag (1) is grabbed by the pick-up head (7); an output station (S2) where the full, sealed bag (1) leaves the pick-up head (7); a filling device (18) that is mounted on the packaging conveyor (4) to move together with the pick-up head (7) along the entire packaging path (P1) and is adapted to supply the dose of product inside the bag (1) through the upper open end (2); and a sealing device (19) that is mounted on the packaging conveyor (4) to move together with the pick-up head (7) along the entire packaging path (P1) and is adapted to seal the full bag (1) through a heat-seal at the open upper end (2).

An automatic system is described, for orienting longitudinal flappers (FL) and transverse flappers (FT) of boxes (S), comprising: a first station for orienting the longitudinal flappers (FL) of the box (S), equipped with first handling means; a third station for orienting the transverse flappers (FT), equipped with third handling means and with a second longitudinal side abutment guide; a second station for transferring the box (S) from the first station to the third station, equipped with first longitudinal side abutment guides; and a transport plane adapted to move the box (S) from the first station to the third station through the second station.

An insertion apparatus for placing a packaging object in a packaging bag, includes: a bag support unit that holds the packaging bag in a state where a bag mouth of the packaging bag is opened; a transfer mechanism that places the packaging object at a supply position; a first intermediate holding unit provided to be able to ascend and descend; an elevation mechanism that elevates or lowers the first intermediate holding unit so as to place the first intermediate holding unit at a first elevation position and a second elevation position; a first placement mechanism that moves the packaging object placed at the supply position in a horizontal direction so as to place the packaging object on the first intermediate holding unit placed at the first elevation position; a horizontal movement mechanism that moves the first intermediate holding unit placed at the second elevation position in the horizontal direction so as to insert at least a part of the first intermediate holding unit in the packaging bag via the bag mouth; and a second placement mechanism that moves the packaging object, placed on the first intermediate holding unit at least partially placed in the packaging bag, in the horizontal direction so as to place the packaging object outside the first intermediate holding unit and inside the packaging bag.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PACKAGED ICE
A bagging mechanism for packaging ice into plastic bags is provided. The bagging mechanism includes a roll support for supporting a roll of plastic, a feeding unit for feeding a predetermined length of plastic from the roll of plastic along a feeding path, a sealing unit positioned along the feeding path for sealing the length of plastic across a width thereof to define a bottom and a top of the plastic bag, a breaching unit positioned along the feeding path downstream from the sealing unit for breaching at least one layer of the length of plastic, thus defining an opening at a top of the plastic bag, and a spreading unit positioned downstream from the breaching unit, the spreading unit having a plurality of elongated fingers adapted to extend between layers of the plastic and hold the top of the plastic bag open while it is filled with ice.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PACKAGED ICE
A bagging mechanism for packaging ice into plastic bags is provided. The bagging mechanism includes a roll support for supporting a roll of plastic, a feeding unit for feeding a predetermined length of plastic from the roll of plastic along a feeding path, a sealing unit positioned along the feeding path for sealing the length of plastic across a width thereof to define a bottom and a top of the plastic bag, a breaching unit positioned along the feeding path downstream from the sealing unit for breaching at least one layer of the length of plastic, thus defining an opening at a top of the plastic bag, and a spreading unit positioned downstream from the breaching unit, the spreading unit having a plurality of elongated fingers adapted to extend between layers of the plastic and hold the top of the plastic bag open while it is filled with ice.
AUTO-FEED ASSEMBLY FOR MODULAR FILLING SYSTEMS
An adjustable table assembly for use in a filler assembly includes a table having a top surface configured to receive a flexible container thereon and a clamp disposed on the table and configured to releasably secure the flexible container to the table. The table has an infeed end and an outfeed end opposite the infeed end. The table is movable along a plurality of rails affixed to the filler assembly. The table is movable between a loading position, in which the table is configured to receive the flexible container, and an operating position, in which the table is inside the filler assembly. The movement of the table along the plurality of rails is along a first axis. Filler assemblies and methods of using adjustable table assemblies are also disclosed.
AUTO-FEED ASSEMBLY FOR MODULAR FILLING SYSTEMS
An adjustable table assembly for use in a filler assembly includes a table having a top surface configured to receive a flexible container thereon and a clamp disposed on the table and configured to releasably secure the flexible container to the table. Apparatus for the transfer of foil bags
The present invention refers to an apparatus for the transfer of foil bags, the apparatus comprising a magazine system, a plurality of adjacently arranged bag receptacles for the simultaneous transportation of adjacently arranged foil bags, and comprising a plurality of clamps which are each configured for gripping a foil bag in a bag receptacle and for the suspended transportation of the foil bag, wherein the apparatus is configured such that during operation foil bags are transferred from the foil bag magazines to the bag receptacles and are gripped in the bag receptacles by the clamps and are transported in suspended fashion, and wherein the apparatus comprises height-adjustable bottom support elements which are configured and arranged such that they respectively support from below the bottom of a foil bag in a bag receptacle up to the position where the clamps grip the foil bag.
