PORTABLE SANDBAG FILLING MACHINE
A portable sandbag and aggregate bag filling machine that may be readily loaded in a shipping container or truck and shipped along the less-than-truckload (LTL) road and transport system network. The sandbag filling machine is designed to fit entirely within a shipping container without disassembly into component parts. The machine is sufficiently compact with minimized height to allow a complete and operable gravity-fed hopper and operable ascending horizontal sand feeder belt machinery suitable for optimized sand handling to be included in a working and deliverable unit sufficiently small to be placed and transported in a shipping container or truck trailer.
Bag-filling machine
To fill bags, a hopper is used to stored fill material. Bag holders are mounted on a transport mechanism. At one or more operator stations, an operator attaches a bag to one of the bag holders. At one or more fill stations, fill material from the hopper is used to fill a bag attached to a bag holder. A conveyer mechanism conveys the bag, after it has been filled, away from the transport mechanism. The transport mechanism transports the bag holder with the attached bag from an operator station to a fill station. The transport mechanism also transports the bag holder from a fill station to an operator station.

Plastic thread bonding method and structure for folding edge of flexible intermediate bulk containers
A plastic thread bonding method and structure for folding edge of a FIBC includes setting the folding edge of the FIBC flatly on a metal solid surface; using a cooling device to maintain a condensation temperature of the solid surface; performing a needle insertion action of the folding edge by a plastic injection needle, and condensing and crystallizing at the eyelet to form a base point; performing a needle withdrawal action by the plastic injection needle to fill up a melted plastic into the eyelet, applying a pressurized cold air to condense the melted plastic to from a thread post; performing a horizontal translation action of the plastic injection needle or the folding edge, and applying the pressurized cold air to condense the melted plastic to form a thread bridge; and repeating the aforementioned procedure to form a next base point, a next thread post and a thread bridge.

Method of sealing a bag for containing a bale of compressible material
A sealing patch for a polymeric bag includes a carrier, a pressure sensitive adhesive on the carrier and a heat-activated material on the pressure sensitive adhesive. A high-strength polymeric bag is formed from woven tapes and is coated with a polymer material. The sealing patch is positioned on the bag for sealing the bag. A method for sealing a high-strength polymeric bag with a sealing patch and a device for sealing a polymeric bag with a sealing patch are disclosed.

Robotized transport and transfer system
A system and a method for maintaining, transferring and transporting a flexible package. The system includes a manipulating system, preferably a five axis robot, for transferring and displacing the flexible package and a lift-assist platform positioned within a reach of the manipulating system for transporting the package and for supporting a weight of the flexible package. The system may be used more specifically for the transport and transfer of upright flexible packages. The system simplifies the tool supported by the robot, thus allowing use of a smaller robot.

METHOD FOR PADDING DOUBLE CLOTHS
A method for padding double cloths includes the steps of preparing a blank made of double cloth, preferably shaped like a portion of an item of clothing, the double cloth having at least two layers of cloth which are mutually joined by way of a two-dimensional distribution of connecting threads. The method further includes separating the two layers of cloth starting from at least one edge region of the blank and for an extent that substantially corresponds to a region to be padded of the partially processed item; and interposing a bag of feathers or down between the two layers of cloth at the region to be padded; and then closing the at least one edge region.
