STEAM SHRINK WRAP SLEEVE WITH PRINTED LABEL FOR CONTAINER AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A shrink wrapping apparatus, and associated process, includes a housing (turbine) having a wall forming a passage dimensioned to receive the associated container assembly and associated sleeve. The passage has an inlet and an outlet spaced therefrom. A steam/hot air path communicates with the passage to provide steam from an associated steam source to at least a portion of the passage in order to shrink wrap the associated sleeve on the associated container assembly as the container assembly and sleeve move through the passage. The apparatus also includes a stop member for engaging the associated container assembly and holding in the passage for a predetermined amount of time.

STEAM HEATED SHRINK TUNNEL
An apparatus for shrinking film onto products moving along a conveyance path includes an elongated steam chamber shaped to form a shrink tunnel through which the conveyance path extends, wherein tunnel side surface portions of the elongated steam chamber bound the path at least in tunnel regions above a plane of the conveyance path and the tunnel side surface portions are heated by steam within the elongated steam chamber and the tunnel side surface portions thereby radiate heat into the shrink tunnel. At least one steam header is positioned within the shrink tunnel and extending along at least part of a length of the shrink tunnel, the steam header including a plurality of steam ejection orifices for ejecting steam into the shrink tunnel. At least one steam flow path feeds steam from an output of the elongated steam chamber to an input of the at least one steam header.
ANCHOR PACKAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for and method of shipping items is provided. The method includes adhering a package to an inner surface of a shipping case, thereby inhibiting movement of the package relative to the shipping case. The method includes wrapping one or more item with a sacrificial layer, such as shrink wrap, stretch wrap, paper, or the like, thereby creating a tight barrier of the package. The system includes one or more conveyor system and one or more adhesive applicator for automating the methods of the present invention. After adhesive is applied to at least one of a first surface of the package and the inner surface of the shipping case, the package is placed into the shipping case and the shipping case is moved to a closed configuration, thereby defining a void surrounding all but the first surface of the package.
Moisture prevention packaging system and methods
A packaged article is composed of a bulk bag having a top end and a bottom end. Further included is a pallet having a first side and a second side. Also included are an outer bag having a first closed end and a first open end and a heatshrink bag having a second closed end and a second open end. The first closed end of the outer bag is between the bottom end of the bulk bag and the first side of the pallet. The first open end of the outer bag is gathered over the top end of the bulk bag to enclose the bulk bag within the outer bag. The second closed end of the heatshrink bag is proximate to the top end of the bulk bag and the second open end contacts the second side of the pallet.
