Plastic film sealing and packaging device
A plastic film sealing and packaging device includes a chassis, a conveyance device for conveying articles-to-be-packaged, at least one pair of plastic film conveyance trays, at least one plastic film sealing mechanism and at least one heat-shrinking device. The conveyance device extends through front and rear ends of the chassis. The plastic film conveyance trays are set at two sides of the chassis to supply strap-like packaging plastic films. The plastic film sealing mechanism is arranged behind the plastic film conveyance trays to have packaging plastic films supplied from the plastic film conveyance trays sealed and combined as a combined film that is set horizontally set so that the articles-to-be-packaged conveyed by the conveyance device are allowed to contact the packaging plastic film to have the packaging plastic film wrapping around a closure site of the article-to-be-packaged. The package plastic film is then sealed by the plastic film sealing mechanism.

APPARATUS FOR HEAT SHRINKING A PACKAGE AND METHOD FOR HEAT SHRINKING A PACKAGE
An apparatus for heat shrinking packages includes a mover having an active surface configured for receiving one or more packages and for displacing the one or more packages along a predetermined operating path, a heating fluid circuit configured to circulate a heating fluid, a control unit operative on the heating fluid circuit, the control unit being configured to control circulation of the heating fluid in the heating fluid circuit, a chamber having an opening and being configured for receiving the one or more packages positioned on the active surface and for heat shrinking the one or more packages based on circulation of the heating fluid in the heating fluid circuit, and means for forming a liquid curtain arranged at the opening and configured to define a liquid curtain along the opening, the liquid curtain separating an inner volume of the chamber from an ambient atmosphere external to the chamber.
Method and apparatus for wrapping a film around an object
An object is first wrapped with a strip of thermoplastic film such that upper edges of the strip project upward past a top face of the object and fold inward onto outer edge regions of the top face of the object. Then a cover sheet is laid on the top face over the folded-in edges of the strip with outer edges of the cover sheet projecting outward past and hanging down around the wrapped object outside the film strip. A heated plate is then pressed down against the cover sheet and hot air is blown against the strip on the side faces so as to shrink the strip against the side faces and such that the hot air rises and welds the outer cover-sheet edges sheet to the strip around upper regions of the side faces.
Packaging Machine and Method for Producing a Packaging Unit as Well as a Packaging Unit Made of Packaging Sleeves and an Outer Packaging
Shown and described are a packaging machine and a method for producing a packaging unit from a packaging sleeve group comprising a plurality of flat folded, upright packaging sleeves, and an outer packaging. It is provided that the packaging machine comprises at least one conveyer unit for conveying the packaging sleeve group in a conveyor direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the packaging group and at least one outer packaging unit for preparing an outer packaging-shaping sheet material in a base position, and in that, seen in the conveyor direction behind the sheet material in the base position, a sealing unit is provided for sealing of the sheet material enclosed in the packaging sleeve group.

STEAM SHRINK WRAP SLEEVE WITH PRINTED LABEL FOR CONTAINER AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A shrink wrapping apparatus, and associated process, includes a housing (turbine) having a wall forming a passage dimensioned to receive the associated container assembly and associated sleeve. The passage has an inlet and an outlet spaced therefrom, and the inlet is located vertically above the outlet such that the associated container assembly and associated sleeve move from the inlet toward the outlet. A steam path communicates with the passage to provide steam from an associated steam source to at least a portion of the passage in order to shrink wrap the associated sleeve on the associated container assembly as the container assembly and sleeve move downwardly through the passage and the steam naturally rises upwardly through the passage.
