POUCH HANDLING MACHINE WITH RECIPROCATING BEAMS CONVEYOR
A pouch handling machine comprises and a series of pouch related process stations. A reciprocating beams conveyor advances pouches intermittently along the stations. The conveyor comprises a left-hand side and a right-hand side elongated reciprocating beams, each provided along the length thereof with pouch retention members. A left-hand side and a right-hand side support member, each support reciprocating beams and form a linear guide of the reciprocating beams. A left-hand side and a right-hand side electromagnetic linear actuator are provided, each being mounted between the respective reciprocating beams and the respective support member to cause an intermittent reciprocating motion of the reciprocating beams in the longitudinal direction thereof. These actuators are linked to an electronic controller that is adapted to synchronize the motions of the actuators. A transverse motion mechanism causes a periodic transverse motion of the left-hand side and a right-hand side support members away from and towards one another.
Method for forming and filling spout film bags and device therefor
An apparatus and method for forming and filling spout film bags which are transferred by a transfer wheel including blowing nozzles, to a filler arranged downstream of the transfer wheel. A blowing nozzle can be placed on the spout upper edge of the spout of a spout film bag and then a defined pressure pulse can be introduced into the interior of the spout film bag through the spout by the blowing nozzle to form the spout film bag. The apparatus can include a transfer wheel having a plurality of receiving stations and blowing nozzles assigned to the receiving stations, the blowing nozzles being able to be placed on the spout upper edges of the spouts in order to introduce a defined pressure pulse, and a filler, arranged downstream of the transfer wheel, for filling the formed spout film bags.
APPARATUS FOR ASEPTICALY FILLING PHARMACEUTICAL CONTAINERS WITH A PHARMACEUTICAL FLUID USING ROTARY STAGE
Systems and methods for aseptically filling pharmaceutical containers with pharmaceutical fluid are disclosed. In one general aspect, these are based on an aseptically sealable chamber that includes a transfer wall to which pre-sealed pharmaceutical source and receiving containers are mounted aseptically. A robotic arm and a syringe store are disposed within the chamber along with a sterilizing facility for establishing in the chamber an aseptic condition. The robotic arm can grip and operate syringes to inject and/or extract pharmaceutical products from the containers by piercing their closures with the needles of the syringes.
Multilayer film used with flexible packaging
This disclosure describes a multilayer plastic film useful in packaging. The film includes layers 1-18, respectively: a PE material layer, a PE material layer, an adhesive resin material layer, a polyamide material layer, an EVOH material layer, a polyamide material layer, an adhesive resin material layer, a PE material layer, a ULDPE material layer, a ULDPE material layer, a PE material layer, an adhesive resin material layer, a polyamide material layer, an EVOH material layer, a polyamide material layer, an adhesive resin material layer, a PE material, and a PE material layer.
Method and apparatus for eliminating oxygen in the filling of a flexible bag with a beverage
Method and apparatus for eliminating oxygen in the filling of a flexible bag with a beverage utilizing sources of inert gas, vacuum, and beverage. A filling head regulates the injection of inert gas and applies a vacuum to the flexible bag the bag spout. The bag spout is separately rinsed of oxygen prior to recapping the same on the flexible bag.
FILLER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF FILLING A POUCH
A filler assembly comprising a pouch preheat zone, a pouch sterilization zone, and a pouch flush zone. The preheat zone includes a preheat nozzle assembly having an inlet and an outlet, the outlet engageable with a pouch assembly, and a preheat vacuum nozzle assembly having an inlet engageable with a pouch assembly and an outlet attachable to a vacuum. The pouch sterilization zone includes a sterilization nozzle assembly having an inlet and an outlet, the outlet engageable with a pouch assembly, and, a sterilization vacuum nozzle assembly having an inlet engageable with a pouch assembly and an outlet attachable to a vacuum. The pouch flush zone includes a pouch flush nozzle assembly having an inlet and an outlet, the outlet engageable with a pouch assembly, and, a pouch flush vacuum nozzle assembly having an inlet engageable with a pouch assembly and an outlet attachable to a vacuum.

HEAT TREATING A FOOD PRODUCT CONTAINED IN A PACKAGE
A method is provided for heat treating a food product contained in a package. The package is made of a packaging material comprising a carton layer. The method comprises exposing the package to hot water to thereby transfer heat from the hot water to the food product, drying the package, such that a water content in the carton layer of the packaging material is reduced, and exposing the package to cold water to thereby transfer heat from the food product to the cold water.
Installation for aseptic filling of a receptacle
A method and an installation for aseptic filling of a receptacle with an enteral nutrition solution includes making available a filling device with a first sealing device preferably in a fixed position, and in which a first aseptic zone is provided, and wherein the first sealing device is located in a position having an opening; taking hold of a receptacle; guiding the receptacle to the first sealing device in such a way that the receptacle, bears sealingly on the opening of the first sealing device, and the first aseptic zone, in which at least an attachment piece of the receptacle is arranged at least in part, is closed; delivering a sterilizing agent, into the first aseptic zone, such that the channel of the attachment piece of the receptacle is at least partially sterilized; guiding the receptacle to the filling nozzle within the first aseptic zone in such a way that the filling nozzle protrudes at least partially into the channel of the attachment piece of the receptacle; filling the receptacle with the nutrition solution; fitting a closure onto the channel of the attachment piece such that the filled receptacle is closed aseptically.
Break-off spout, pouch having a break-off spout, production method for pouch having a break-off spout, food or beverage in pouch having a break-off spout, and production method therefor
The break-off spout of the present invention includes: a spout main body (110) having a break-off section (150) formed via a weakened section (121) such that an annular section (152) having a through-hole formed therein protrudes to the tip side; and a pair of left and right cover members (160) integrally formed with the spout main body (110) via hinge sections provided below the weakened section (121). The pair of left and right cover members (160) are formed in a shape such that, when the cover members are engaged with each other, the cover members cover a portion of the spout main body (110) above the hinge sections including the break-off section (150). An insertion port (164) through which deformation means that deforms the annular section (152) and blocks the through-hole can be inserted is provided in the cover members (160).
