PURGEABLE PHARMACEUTICAL FILL NEEDLE
The present invention involves a fill needle system for aseptically dispensing a pharmaceutical fluid in an aseptic chamber comprises a fill needle tubing in fluid communication with a pharmaceutical fluid source via flexible tubing and extending through a fill needle hub; a fill needle dispensing tip disposed at a dispensing end of the fill needle tubing; a fill needle sheath shaped and arranged to removably mate with and seal aseptically to the fill needle hub to form an aseptically sealed volume enclosing the dispensing tip; and a fluid pressure pulse induction system disposed and configured to compress the flexible tubing in order to dislodge droplets of pharmaceutical fluid retained on the dispensing tip after halting dispensing of the pharmaceutical fluid. An associated method of dispensing pharmaceutical fluid comprises operating the fluid pressure pulse induction system to dislodge the droplets. The system may comprise a controller for automatically controlling the dispensing and droplet dislodging.
Medical apparatus and method for sterilizing medical apparatus
According to the invention, there is provided a medical apparatus including: one or more sterile pre-filled syringe; one or more first protective container including the one or more sterile pre-filled syringe, wherein the one or more first protective container is impermeable to moisture and/or sterilizing agents; a second protective container including one or more medical components and the one or more first protective container; and a package impermeable to bacteria including the second protective container.
Fill-finish process for peptide solutions
The enclosed disclosure describes, among other things, a method including the steps of a first deaerating step in which a mixture comprising peptides is deaerated by lowering the pressure, filtering the mixture through a sterilizing filter; and a second deaerating step, in which the filtrate is deaerated by vibration and lowering the pressure.

ASEPTIC PROCESSING FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGES
The present teachings provide an approach for energy efficient creation of dilute sterile fluids such as ready-to-drink beverages. To achieve such creation, a beverage processing apparatus may have a sterile liquid concentrate source connected to deliver sterile liquid concentrate and a sterile water source having an inlet connected to receive water and a cold water filter sterilizer connected to the inlet. The apparatus may also have a dilute fluid outlet and an aseptic mixing component. The aseptic mixing component may be interconnected between the sterile liquid concentrate source, the sterile water source and the dilute fluid outlet to: receive sterile liquid concentrate; receive sterile water; and to provide a dilute fluid.
METHODS OF PREPARING ANTI-AGGLOMERATION YOGURT-BASED PRODUCTS FOR USE AS AEROSOL FOOD PRODUCTS
The present disclosure is related to a method and product of preparing an anti-agglomeration yogurt-based product for use in an aerosol container, comprising: creating a suspension comprised of at least one dairy ingredient and water, pasteurizing the suspension, cooling the suspension to a temperature range to enable culture activity, inoculating the suspension with a culture of yogurt-forming bacteria, homogenizing the suspension, and packaging the suspension.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILLED CONTAINERS
A device for producing filled containers has a transport device which is configured for transporting containers which are filled with a liquid and are closed by a closure. Furthermore, the apparatus has a penetration device which is configured for producing an opening in at least one region of the closure and/or of the container, and an application device, which applies a flowable and in particular gaseous medium to the interior of the container through this opening (or feeds the gaseous medium to this interior). Furthermore apparatus has a closing device which closes the opening again.

Snap Container for Pre-Portioned Product and Related Methods
A container for packaging a pre-portioned amount of liquid or dry product is provided that includes a one-piece outer casing defining an interior reservoir. The outer casing has a cylindrical shell that is closed at one end by a rounded tip and open at the opposing end with an open circular outer edge/rim defining a mouth. To fill the container, the product is introduced through the mouth into the interior reservoir; then opposing edges of the rim are compressed together and sealed with heat to create an elongated seal having two opposing ends. Multiple types of elongated seals are provided. In one aspect the outer casing is formed unitarily of a plastic resin. To open the container, the consumer squeezes the two opposing seal ends/termini toward each other; this deforms the elongated seal and causes the seal to snap open, which allows access to the product.
Container
This invention relates to a container comprising and outer shell and an inner lining, to a method of construction of such a container and to components used in the construction of such a container. A container comprises an outer shell made from a first material comprising paperboard, and an inner lining made from a second material comprising a polymeric or metallic material, the lining defining an internal volume for holding a liquid, and the lining being adhered to the shell, wherein, the outer shell includes a line of weakness extending around at least part of the periphery of the shell and defining a first portion of the shell on one side of said line and a second portion of the shell on the other side of said line, the line of weakness permitting the first portion of the shell to be separated from the second portion of the shell, and wherein, the lining is adhered to the shell in said first portion and the lining extends into to said second portion of the shell.
