Wound Body, Core Body for Wound Body, and Combination of Wound Body and Support Shaft
Provided is a wound body formed by winding a long sheet. The wound body is supportable by a support shaft. The support shaft includes a cylindrical outer peripheral part that includes a first projection located at a proximal end and a second projection located at a distal end, and includes an inner peripheral part that includes a first recess part located at the one end and recessing outward in the radial direction and a second recess part located to extend from the one end to the other end and recessing outward in the radial direction. A recessing amount of the second recess part is smaller than that of the first recess part. The support shaft and the core body are integrally rotatable around the central axis by engagement of the first projection with the first recess part in a state where the core body is mounted on the outer periphery of the support shaft. The circumferential position of the first projection around the central axis is aligned with the circumferential position of the first recess part around the central axis by engagement of the second projection with the second recess part when the core body is mounted on the outer periphery of the support shaft.
Packaging apparatus for small piece goods and method for producing a blister tube comprising a plurality of blister bags
A packaging apparatus for small piece goods, the use of the packaging apparatus, and a method for producing a blister tube are provided. The packaging apparatus includes a packaging material guiding device for providing a shaped packaging material web suitable for receiving small piece goods, a longitudinal joining device which is arranged downstream of the packaging material guiding device and a transverse joining device which is arranged downstream of the packaging material guiding device. The transverse joining device joins the shaped packaging material web together at predetermined intervals transversely to the direction of travel to form a transverse joining area. The transverse joining device includes two joiners, which have a plurality of embossers that are individually movable transversely to the direction of travel and have an embosser stop area which cooperate such that elevations that are palpable are formed by the embossers in the transverse joining area.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING OF MASS-FABRICATED CUSTOM ITEMS
A system for packaging mass-customized items includes a computer system including a database containing item identification information unique to each item; (2) outer container identification apparatus that applies the item identification information received from the database to each outer container in a plurality of outer containers; (3) inner pack identification apparatus that applies the item identification information received from the database to each inner pack in a plurality of inner packs; and (4) inner pack filling apparatus that fills each inner pack with a specific item matched to that inner pack by the item identification information received from the database. Each item is associated with its unique item identification information and is inserted into an inner pack with matching item identification information, and each outer container is presented for loading with one or more inner packs matched to that outer container by the item identification information received from the database.
Method for printing a web of packaging material and an apparatus thereof
A method for printing a web of packaging material for packages holding liquid food products is provided. The method comprises receiving a web of packaging material, identifying a first register mark using a first sensor, determining a first register mark position based on the first register mark, determining a second register mark position area based on the first register mark position, identifying a second register mark within the second register mark position area using a second sensor and determining a second register mark position for the second register mark, determining a second area position of the second area based on the second register mark position, adjusting the web in relation to printer bars in accordance with the second area position, determining a second area position of the second area based on the second register mark position, and printing the second area by using the printer bars.
Continuous bag-making and packaging apparatus
A continuous bag-making and packaging apparatus is disclosed. In the apparatus, sealing is performed on a film at a predetermined position to make a bag while the film is continuously conveyed. The apparatus includes a film-conveying unit configured to change a feeding speed of the film, a printing unit configured to print on the film conveyed, a bag information acquisition unit configured to acquire information of a bag to be made, and a print timing presentation unit configured to present information pertaining to a print timing suitable for printing based on the information of the bag.
CONTAINER DECORATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A container body decorator (10) has a controller (300) with a software stored in a memory. A plurality of ink-jet printing heads (108) is in communication with the controller (300). A segmented image transfer blanket (116) has a circumferential configuration with an inner surface opposite a printing surface. A printing site (124) is located along the segmented image transfer blanket (116). A container body handling module (200) delivers container bodies to the printing site (124).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MEDICINAL PACKAGING
The invention relates to a system and a method for manufacturing a medical package, in particular a foil bag made of plastic. A print image with variable information comprising blank spaces is first applied by means of a thermal transfer printer. The blank spaces are filled by means of a hot stamp printing process.
A METHOD FOR A PACKAGING MATERIAL
A method for providing a packaging material is provided. The method comprises feeding a web of packaging material through a packaging material processing unit; determining a target position of said packaging material; and controlling a printing unit to print an RFID antenna at said target position, wherein the material used for printing the RFID antenna is conductive substance. A packaging material is also provided.
PACKAGING APPARATUS AND PROCESS
In an apparatus and a packaging process of capsules with an opening closed by a laminar lid obtained by cutting a strip, the ability of transporting the laminar lids in several lines is introduced, reducing the overall dimensions. The apparatus includes: a cutting device with a mechanism defining a portion of the strip where the strip is tensioned in a respective cutting plane, and one or more punches obtaining the laminar lids from the strip; a carousel-like transfer device, having transfer members movable along a closed path, with gripping heads configured to receive respective laminar lids from the cutting device. The cutting plane is in a vertical position, and the mutual position of the cutting device and the transfer device defines a gripping spot of the closed path, the laminar lids being retained in the transfer members on a respective plane in a vertical position.
STEAM SHRINK WRAP SLEEVE WITH PRINTED LABEL FOR CONTAINER AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A shrink wrapping apparatus, and associated process, includes a housing (turbine) having a wall forming a passage dimensioned to receive the associated container assembly and associated sleeve. The passage has an inlet and an outlet spaced therefrom. A steam/hot air path communicates with the passage to provide steam from an associated steam source to at least a portion of the passage in order to shrink wrap the associated sleeve on the associated container assembly as the container assembly and sleeve move through the passage. The apparatus also includes a stop member for engaging the associated container assembly and holding in the passage for a predetermined amount of time.
