The present disclosure provides a fitment. In an embodiment, a fitment is provided and includes a top portion, a base, and a channel extending through the top portion and the base for passage of a flowable material. The fitment is composed of a polymeric composition. The polymeric composition includes (i) from 70 to 90 weight percent of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a density from 0.940 g/cc to 0.970 g/cc, a melt temperature, Tm, greater than 125 C., and a melt index from 1 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min; and (ii) from 30 to 10 weight percent of an oletin based elastomer having a density from 0.860 g/cc to 0.905 g/cc, a melt index from 0.2 g/10 min to 50 g/10 min, and a Tm less than 125 C.

A method for transferring pouches for containing products, includes the steps of gripping two corresponding flaps of a pouch with first and second grippers, and transferring the pouch between a first turntable and a second conveyor. One out of the first turntable and the second conveyor include the first and second grippers for gripping corresponding flaps of the pouch, and the other includes third and fourth grippers for gripping the pouch. The step of transferring the pouch between the first turntable and the second conveyor includes gripping the pouch with the third grippers. The method further includes releasing the first grippers that are gripping the pouch, gripping the pouch with the fourth grippers, and releasing the second grippers that are gripping the pouch.

The rotary feedthrough according to the invention comprises a stationary component 19 having one or more media inputs 20.1, 20.2, 20.3 for providing one or more media for supplying one or more actuator units 12.1, 12.2; 18.1, 18.2 of an object carrier element 6.1, 6.2. Furthermore, the rotary feedthrough comprises a plurality of components 24.1, 24.2, 24.3, 24.4 which are rotatable independently of one another about a common central axis 23 relative to the stationary component 19 and which each comprise one or more media outputs 25.1, 25.2. The rotary feedthrough permits the formation of a media connection between actuator units assigned to object carrier elements 6, which actuator units can be moved on a circular movement path on an object carrier 3 or can remain on the object carrier in a fixed location, and a fixed, central supply device 21.

The proposal is for a method for the low-germ packaging of vegan cheese, comprising or consisting of the following steps: (a) preparing vegan cheese in a heated buffer container, the temperature of which is sufficient to keep the vegan cheese in a liquid state; (b) preparing a film bag, in which the film webs are welded to one another in such a way that they form a rectangle during filling, wherein the film bag has a filling nozzle with a closure cap; (c) filling the film bag with the vegan cheese from the buffer container via the filling nozzle until the bag has assumed its rectangular shape; (d) closing the bag with the closure cap, and (e) cooling the cheese mass, optionally in a shape corresponding to the rectangle.

The break-off spout of the present invention includes: a spout main body (110) having a break-off section (150) formed via a weakened section (121) such that an annular section (152) having a through-hole formed therein protrudes to the tip side; and a pair of left and right cover members (160) integrally formed with the spout main body (110) via hinge sections provided below the weakened section (121). The pair of left and right cover members (160) are formed in a shape such that, when the cover members are engaged with each other, the cover members cover a portion of the spout main body (110) above the hinge sections including the break-off section (150). An insertion port (164) through which deformation means that deforms the annular section (152) and blocks the through-hole can be inserted is provided in the cover members (160).

The present invention relates to an induction sealing device for heat sealing of packaging material. The sealing device comprises a conductor partly encapsulated in a supporting body for cooperation with the packaging material during sealing. The coil conductor has a reduced cross sectional area at at least one position along the coil conductor so as to concentrate the magnetic flux induced by the coil conductor at the at least one position. The invention also relates to a method of heat sealing a packaging material using the induction sealing device.

An applying unit for applying lids to necks of containers may be provided. The applying unit may include a conveying device configured to advance the containers along a path in an advancement direction; a group of applying heads, each applying head configured to screw a lid onto a corresponding neck; and a movement device configured to move the group of applying heads along the advancement direction, so that each applying head may be coupled to a corresponding neck along a portion of the path. The movement device may be configured to act on a common support element configured to support the applying heads of the group, so as to synchronously move the applying heads along the advancement direction.
