Tying device
The invention relates to a tying device of a type comprising: a work surface (10) comprising an opening (11) in the shape of a slot; a tying member (103) which can be activated so as to place at least one string (400) around an item (500) which is moving in a transfer direction (A) on a first side of the work surface (10), and to carry a portion of said string (400) to a second side of the work surface (10), forming at least one loop; and a knotting lip (55) capable of closing the loop with a knot on the second side of the work surface (10). The slot extends generally in the transfer direction (A), allowing a portion of the loop to pass through, but keeping the knot on the second side of the work surface (10) over at least a portion of the movement of the item (500).
MACHINE FOR PACKAGING PIECE GOOD COMBINATIONS WITH ADDITIONAL DECORATING DEVICE
Machine for packaging piece good combinations with a transport device which transports a plurality of piece goods in a predetermined transport direction, with a first wrapping device which is suitable and intended for wrapping the piece goods with a film element, wherein this first wrapping device has a dispensing unit revolving around the piece goods, wherein the piece goods can be delivered to the first wrapping device in order be wrapped by the film element, and with at least one separating device arranged downstream of the first wrapping device in the transport direction of the piece goods, which separates portions of the stream of piece goods wrapped with the first film element from one another and/or promotes a separating process. According to the invention the machine has a decorating device which provides the piece goods with at least one decoration.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES FOR HERMETIC CONTAINERS
A machine and method for the application of pressure relief valves for hermetic containers. The machine comprising an applicator configured to apply the valves to containers, a vibrating feed container for housing the valves and making the valves directly available to the applicator, an aspirator configured so as to suck the valves contained within a reservoir and convey them to the vibrating feed container through a tube. The method comprises supplying pressure relief valves to the vibrating feed container of the machine by sucking the valves from the reservoir.
Clasp for securing flexible bands
A clasp is configured to permanently interlock around a flexible strip of material and includes first and second interlocking members. Each interlocking member includes two hooks and two recesses. Each of the hooks of the first side are arranged to engage and interlock with one of the recesses of the second side and each of the hooks of the second side are arranged to interlock with one of the recesses of the first side, so as to prevent movement between the interlocking members when interlocked.
Bib tie automation system
A system is configured to automatically band a product with a portion of twist tie material and includes a tying machine which includes a twisting barrel, a tie payout assembly, a tie feeding assembly, a main drive belt, and a tying ring. The tie payout assembly includes a spool shaft configured for mounting a tie spool of the twist tie material. The tie feeding assembly is configured to receive the twist tie material from the tie payout assembly and includes a feedroller, a nip roller, a forward feedroll clutch, a reverse feedroll clutch, and a feedroll belt. The nip roller is configured to contact the feedroller with the twist tie material therebetween. The forward feedroll clutch is engageable with a forward feedroll pulley that surrounds a forward feedroll shaft. The reverse feedroll clutch is engageable with a reverse feedroll pulley that surrounds a reverse feedroll shaft.
Method of assembling and dispensing a beverage from a kiosk
The present invention relates to a novel beverage container and associated mechanism and process for removing a cap from a closure structure in the container, filling the container, securing the cap, and dispensing the container. The beverage container comprises a compostable shell, a cap, a closure structure, and a beverage bag.
APPARATUS FOR APPLYING LEAFLETS TO CONTAINERS
An apparatus for applying leaflets to containers, which comprises a fixed framework that supports at least one magazine for containing leaflets which faces, with its outlet, the peripheral region of an application drum, which can rotate about its own axis, with respect to the fixed framework, and is provided with at least one accommodation seat for at least one respective leaflet picked up from the outlet of the magazine and intended to be transferred onto at least one respective container moved by a conveyor; the application drum can be actuated with a continuous rotary motion about its own axis and is provided, at the accommodation seat, with elements for retaining the leaflet that can be moved on command between a condition that lies close to the axis of the application drum and a condition that is spaced from the axis of the application drum.
SEALING DEVICE
The sealing device for packages that includes a control unit, a sealing station, an unwinder for a film web, a cutting device provided upstream of the sealing station and used for producing film sections of the film web, a film feed device for feeding the film sections to the sealing station, a conveying device for conveying packages into the sealing station. Preferrably, the packages include food packed in a gas-tight manner. Further, the sealing station may comprise upper and lower sealing elements that are configured for clamping the package and the film section in common between the lower and upper sealing elements and for sealing the film section onto the package. The sealing device may also include the sealing elements being adapted to be synchronously moved along with the continuously moving package during the sealing process.
Packaging including pouch for container
A pouch, designed to be attached, either directly or indirectly, to a container, is provided with two end portions, each of which is formed with an elongated slit. When the pouch is directly attached atop a container, the end portions are pulled over the lid and catch a rim portion of the container. When the pouch is placed upon a lid covered container, the end portions of the pouch can catch or engage the lid. In accordance with an aspect of the invention, a pair of spaced slits extends from each elongated slit, thereby creating a tab or flap in each end portion. The flap is configured to either directly catch a rim of the container or be tucked under the lid, i.e., between the lid and the container, to attach the pouch to the lid and, indirectly, the container.
