So that a reliable operation of the processing device can be achieved with at same time higher processing speeds, it is provided that the sliding means mounted on two rotary discs which are spaced apart from one another in the vertical direction and are rotatable about a respective axis of rotation, and in that the axes of rotation of the rotary discs are arranged parallel to one another and spaced horizontally apart from one another.
Method of operating an apparatus for applying drinking straws to packaging containers and an apparatus operated by the method
The invention relates to a method of operating an apparatus for applying drinking straws to packaging containers. The method comprises the step of moving a drinking straw carrier from an application position to the leaving position, in a packaging container moving direction, maintaining a velocity in that direction being equal to a constant velocity of a first conveyor. The invention also relates to an apparatus being operated according to the method.
Application Device, Application Apparatus and Method for Applying Additional Elements to Packages
Described and depicted is an application apparatus for applying additional elements, in particular straws, to packages, preferably cardboard composite packages. So that the application can also be carried out reliably at high speeds and with moderate equipment complexity, it is provided that at least two applicators are provided which are adjustable along a common, circumferential transport track from a pick-up position for picking up the additional elements to an application position for applying the additional elements to the packages and back and which comprise respectively at least one application finger for pressing the additional elements onto the packages.
Method and Device for Applying Additive Packaging Material
Presented and described are a device for separately applying additive packaging material, preferably wrapped straws, supplied as an additive packaging material continuous belt, to packages, in particular cardboard composite packages, having a separating organ for separating the additive packaging material of the additive packaging material continuous belt, a supply means for supplying the additive packaging material continuous belt to the separating organ and for relaying the additive packaging material separated by the separating organ, an application means for applying the separated additive packaging materials to the packages and a transport means for transporting the packages along a package transport path to the application means. So that the separation and application of the additive packaging materials can be carried out quickly, with high quality and reliably, it is provided that a transfer means is provided for picking up the additive packaging material relayed from the supply means and for accelerating the transferred additive packaging material to a speed adapted to the application means.
Application Device and Method for Applying Additional Elements in an Application Direction
Described and depicted is an application device for applying additional elements, in particular straws, to packages, preferably cardboard composite packages, having at least one transport device for transporting the packages along a transport track and having at least one application apparatus comprising at least one applicator for applying the additional elements to the package, wherein the applicator is provided on the application apparatus to be adjustable from a pick-up position for picking up the additional elements to an application position for applying the additional elements to the packages and back. So that less constructive and technical effort relating to the method is required for the application of the additional elements in different orientations, it is provided that the at least one application apparatus, as a result of an adjustment, in particular of the applicator, overlapping with the adjustment of the applicator from the pick-up position to the application position, is designed for picking up the additional elements in a pick-up orientation in space by the applicator and for applying the additional elements in an application orientation inclined from the pick-up orientation in space by the applicator.
Application Device for Applying Additional Elements to Packages
Described and depicted is an application device for applying additional elements, in particular straws, to packages, preferably cardboard composite packages, having at least one transport device for transporting the packages along a transport track having at least one applicator adjustable, from a pick-up position for picking up the additional elements, to an application position for applying the additional elements to the packages and back. To facilitate the application of the additional elements at a higher application speed without having to take on considerable losses with regard to the reliability of the application of the additional elements or the complexity of the equipment, it is provided that at least one positioning belt extending at least in sections along the transport track of the packages is provided such that the additional elements applied to the packages are held on the packages, in particular pressed onto the packages along at least a part of the transport track by the positioning belt.
DEVICE FOR APPLYING AN ARTICLE TO A MOVING OBJECT
A device for applying an article to a moving object includes an applicator member having a base element and an arm element. The arm element is telescopically coupled to the base element such that the arm element is movable between a retracted state and an extended state. A biasing member biases the arm element towards its extended state and an actuator shaft is pivotably connected to the base element. The actuator shaft is eccentrically arranged and rotatable about a first rotation axis RA1, and a support member is pivotable about a second rotation axis RA2 and slidingly supports a mid-section of the arm element. An applicator head is cyclically movable between a retrieval position and an application position in response to rotation of the eccentrically arranged actuator shaft about the first rotation axis RA1. The arm element can be brought to its retracted state during movement of the applicator head from the retrieval position to the application position and can assume its extended state during movement of the applicator head from the application position to the retrieval position.
