Separable Container for Frozen Dessert Product
A separable container and related method for delivering predetermined portions of product contained within a container is provided. The container has a sidewall having a plurality of frangible sections disposed at predetermined distances along the height of the sidewall. A plurality of flexible dividers are interspersed with the product in the container, each of the flexible dividers being substantially aligned with a respective frangible section of the sidewall. Sidewall segments are separable from the container to expose a predetermined portion of the product contained therein, and the flexible dividers define a boundary between adjacent predetermined portions of product to facilitate separation of the exposed predetermined product portions from a remainder of product seated within the container sidewall.
Packaging machine and apparatus therefor
An apparatus for a packaging machine comprising; a first conveyor for conveying an input stream of articles, a second conveyor for conveying an output stream of articles, a guide path configured as a loop and one or more tools coupled to the guide path. Each tool comprises a tool head for engaging with one or more articles in the input stream. The tool head is operable to transfer the one or more articles from the first conveyor to the second conveyor. The one or more articles are placed upon the second conveyor in discrete groups having one or more tiers.
Packet for cigarette industry products and method and device for producing the same
A packet for cigarette industry products, having a tray for receiving at least one group of products, and a device and a method for producing the same. The packet is characterized in that the tray is specified for receiving at least two groups of products, and in that at least one separator for delimiting two receptacle spaces for in each case at least one group of products is disposed in an interior of the tray, and in that the separator is formed from a wall of the tray.
Aerosol generating articles
An aerosol generating article includes a substantially cylindrical cup containing a plant-based aerosol generating material and at least one inductively heatable susceptor element (26). The cup includes an open end and a bottom wall. The cup has a self-supporting moulded form and includes a flange at the open end and a closure attached to the flange. The closure and/or bottom wall is porous or includes one or more openings.
METHOD FOR CLOSING CARTRIDGES, SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING CARTRIDGE CLOSURES AND TRANSPORT OR PACKAGING CONTAINER
In a method for closing a plurality of medical cartridges (5) a closure nest for supporting a plurality of closures is used, comprising a planar supporting plate having a plurality of receptacles having a plurality of tubular receptacles (61) and retaining structures for reliably accommodating the closures (200). In the method the plurality of medical cartridges (5) is supported in a corresponding cartridge nest. The closure nest is disposed above the cartridge nest so that the receptacles of the closure nest are precisely aligned with the receptacles of the cartridge nest. The closures (200) are then pushed downward out of the receptacles of the closure nest and into the cartridges (5), while the cartridges are supported by the cartridge nest. The closure nest can be directly fed on existing filling and stoppering machine set-ups for processing sealed prefillable syringe barrels, basically without the necessity of changing the set-up.
SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING SEALED CARTRIDGES, TRANSPORT OR PACKAGING CONTAINER AND PROCESS FOR PROCESSING THE SAME
A supporting structure for supporting a plurality of sealed medical cartridges is disclosed, comprising a planar supporting plate having a plurality of receptacles for accommodating the sealed cartridges. Retaining protrusions are formed at the bottom ends of the receptacles protruding inward, which are mated with the shoulder portions of the sealed cartridges in such a manner that the shoulder portions of the sealed cartridges are supported on the retaining protrusions of the receptacles and that the upper ends of the sealed cartridges protrude from the upper ends of the receptacles at an upper side of the planar supporting plate, when the sealed cartridges are accommodated upside-down in the receptacles. The inventive nest will be suitable for any nested liquid filling machine without much changes in filling table and general settings.
Automated packaging assembly line for perishable items
An automated apparatus and method for configuring and producing packaging for orders of variable configurations of perishable items includes an automatic case erector-sealer; a packing liner dispenser; a cold pack dispenser; a control system; a point of sale ecommerce platform; and a data processor to capture order configuration, order destination, and available order points of origin. The control system captures and uses the order configuration, destination, and delivery date, to generate a time in transit (TNT), total volume, cold volume, and ambient volume, of items in the order. The total volume and cold volume are used to generate a product cube category (PCC). The TNT and the PCC are used to generate a packaging configuration for the order. The system uses the packaging configuration to generate and send operational directives to one or more of the automatic case erector-sealer, the packing liner dispenser, and the cold pack dispenser.
Twin layer packaging machine
A packaging machine is disclosed for packing cartons with beverage cans in two overlaying layers. The packaging machine has a selector flight, a can flight, and a carton flight, all synchronously movable. A single infeed assembly directs first groups of cans into selector bays on the selector flight, sweeps them into adjacent can bays, and directs second groups of cans into the same selector bays, all on the same level. The selector flight and the second groups of cans then ramps up to an elevated level, from where the second groups of cans are swept into the adjacent can bays atop the first groups of cans. The thus staged cans are pushed into open cartons on the carton flight.
ANTI-SOG SANDWICH BOX
Provided herein is a container for storing and transporting a sandwich. The container includes separate compartments for storing the sandwich components to prevent the bread from becoming soggy due to wetter ingredients. Removable dividers in between the compartments allow for easy and automatic assembly of the sandwich within the container prior to consumption.
