METHODS, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEMS FOR MULTI-MATTRESS COMPRESSION PACKING
Methods of compressing and sealing a plurality of mattresses in an air-impermeable, pliable outer container; and assemblies comprising such a plurality of mattresses. The plurality of mattresses may be rolled into a cylindrical shape for transport from a manufacturer to a distribution center or a retail location. Each mattress may be enclosed in an air-permeable, pliable decorative container that may be suitable for display or transfer to customers. The methods and the assemblies may allow greater efficiency in shipping mattresses to a distribution center or a retail location, and/or greater efficiency in preparing mattresses for display or transfer to customers of the retail location.
Auto-packing apparatus for pouch
The invention is an auto-packing apparatus for pouch, and comprises: a pouch conveyor 20, a slot magazine 50, a pickup means 60 to pick up the moving pouches 1 on the pouch conveyor 20 and insert them into the slots 51 of the slot magazine 50, a pouch retainer 100 to retain the pouches 1 dropping from the slot magazine 50, a moving means 130 to move one 80 of the side walls 70,80 of the pouch retainer 100 and an opening means 91 to open and close the lower part of the pouch retainer 100 and a controller 180.
BEVERAGE PAD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING BEVERAGE PADS
An apparatus for making a beverage pad having an amount of extractable or soluble beverage preparation product as a compacted puck enclosed between two sheets of filtering material comprises dosing means arranged for supply of a dose of extractable or soluble beverage preparation product to a puck forming device of the apparatus and further comprises a packaging device arranged to package a compacted puck received from the puck forming device between two sheets of filtering material to form the beverage pad. The puck forming device comprises a cylindrical rotating drum with an outer side surface having recesses for receiving in each recess a dose of extractable or soluble beverage preparation product. A bottom wall of each recess is formed by a movable piston arranged to move with respect to the outer side surface of the drum to vary a height of the recess in relation to an angular position of the recess on the circular circumference of the drum. The puck forming device further comprises a compression body adjacent to the rotating drum arranged to provide a counter surface to compress a dose of extractable or soluble beverage preparation product against. The compression body comprises drive means arranged to drive the counter surface moving along a circumferential part of the outer side surface of the rotating drum with a velocity corresponding to a velocity of the outer side surface of the rotating drum.
POUCH CONTAINMENT AND CARTON LOADING
A stack of products such as pouches are formed in a product bucket, pushed into a stack guide bucket and from there into a carton. A stack tamp descends over the stack, engages and confines it downwardly during stack pushing from product bucket and through stack guide bucket into a carton. Multiple product buckets, stack guide buckets and cartons move downstream during cartoning, and are respectively aligned in a cartoning station. Reciprocal containment blades hold the stack in respective cartons prior to flap closing.
Dosing station for a capsule filling machine
A dosing station for a capsule filling machine comprises a dosing unit in which capsule lower parts are filled with a filling material via a filling apparatus and a drive unit with at least one drive that drives at least one component of the dosing unit. The drive unit is arranged beneath a supporting plate, and detachable fastening and coupling means detachably fastens the dosing unit on the supporting plate. Where the dosing unit is detachably fastened on the supporting plate, the at least one drive is coupled to the at least one component. In the detached state of the dosing unit from the supporting plate, the coupling of the at least one drive to the at least one component is canceled. In this way, the dosing unit can be removed as a module from the dosing station.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING GROUPS OF COMPRESSED HYGIENE PRODUCTS
A method and device for forming groups of compressed hygiene products, wherein uncompressed hygiene products are supplied by a first conveyor and are transferred to a compressing apparatus having a compartment for a group of uncompressed hygiene products, and a plurality of uncompressed hygiene products are transferred from the first conveyor into the compartment while the compartment is moved, together with the first conveyor, in a transport direction. The group of uncompressed hygiene products is compressed in the compartment during the transporting in the transport direction such that, after compression, a group of compressed hygiene products is situated in the compartment, and the group of compressed hygiene products is discharged to a compartment of a second conveyor during the further transporting of the compartment of the compressing apparatus, wherein the compartment of the compressing apparatus is moved in the transport direction with the compartment of the second conveyor.
