An assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a cylindrical sleeve and a length of material that is wound upon itself defining a wound roll. The cylindrical sleeve includes an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve defines a passage extending through the cylindrical sleeve. The length of material includes an inner surface and an outer surface. A portion of the inner surface of the length of material forms a passage extending through the wound roll. The outer surface of the cylindrical sleeve is secured to the portion of the inner surface of the length of material that forms the passage extending through the wound roll. The wound roll forms an upper axial end and a lower axial end. The wound roll is defined by a length extending between the upper axial end and the lower axial end. The cylindrical sleeve forms a distal end and a proximal end. The cylindrical sleeve is defined by a length extending between the distal end and the proximal end. The length of the cylindrical sleeve is greater than the length of the wound roll to thereby define a first portion of the length of the cylindrical sleeve that extends beyond the upper axial end of the wound roll and a second portion of the length of the cylindrical sleeve that extends beyond the lower axial end of the wound roll. Both of the first portion of the length of the cylindrical sleeve and the second portion of the length of the cylindrical sleeve is defined by a Sheffield Smoothness that is less than 350. A method is also disclosed.

A film dispenser includes a holding member, the holding member including a first end and a second end joined to the first end. The holding member defines a longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the second end. The second end defines a brake portion, a connecting portion extending radially inward from the brake portion, and a slot defined in the brake portion. The slot includes a first portion extending in a circumferential direction across a width of the brake portion and second and third portions extending across a length of the brake portion. The slot further includes a fourth portion angled with respect to the second portion and a fifth portion angled with respect to the third portion, each of the fourth and fifth portions extending in a circumferential direction, the fourth and fifth portions of the slot intersecting the second and third portions, respectively.

A film dispenser apparatus for dispensing film from a film roll including a holding member. The holding member can define a longitudinal axis that extends from a first end to a second end. The holding can include a brake portion defined on the second end of the holding member, and a connecting portion extending radially inward from the brake portion. The second end of the holding member can define a slot including a first portion extending across the width of the brake portion and a second portion and a third portion extending across the length of the brake portion. The film dispenser can further include a rotating member defining an axis of rotation. The longitudinal axis of the holding member can be aligned with the axis of rotation of the rotating member.

Attachment apparatuses are attached to a pallet to allow rope or string, such as that made from stretch film, to securely attach a load or object to the pallet for shipping. The apparatuses can be clip or nail based to secure to the pallet or wedge based to wedge into the middle of the pallet. These devices orient an engagement surface designed to engage the rope or string.

A film dispenser for dispensing stretch wrap or other flexible materials. The film dispenser is comprised of paper or cardboard. The film dispenser being inserted into an extended core or having the extended core inserted into the film dispenser.

A brake device of a film packing device includes a holding sleeve. The holding sleeve is provided with an elastic piece. An inner wall of the elastic piece is provided with a press portion. An end of an outer wall of the elastic piece is formed with an engaging trough. A brake block is provided in the engaging trough. A film receiving sleeve is fitted on the holding sleeve. When the press portion of the elastic piece is pushed, the brake block is pressed against the inner wall of the film receiving sleeve, enabling the film receiving sleeve to bring a brake function. When the film packing device is used for packing, this brake function provides a predetermined tension for the film.

A manual wrapping apparatus includes: a wrap roll having a wrap wound around the outer surface thereof; a support rod, one end of which is provided with a first gripping area for the operator and the other end of which is coupled to the wrap roll; and a rotating grip portion which is rotatably coupled on one side on the outer surface of the support rod in order to provide a second gripping area for the operator. According to the present invention: the operator does not have to bend his or her body during the wrapping operation but can carry out the operation while maintaining a standing position so that there is no burden on the body of the operator despite the wrapping operation being performed over a long period of time; sufficient tension is added to the wrap being wrapped around a target object by using an additional stopper member so that the target object can be firmly fixed; and consumption of wrapping is reduced by the amount of the added tension so that logistics costs can be reduced. In addition, the coupling depths of an upper support rod and a lower support rod are adjusted using a coupling depth control means to adjust the total length of the support rod so that even a wrapping target object positioned at a high place can be wrapped with ease.

A wearable packaging film dispenser assembly including a dispenser for packaging film reels, where the dispenser is adapted to rotatably support a packaging film reel for wrapping/packaging a load, and a wearable support element configured to connect the dispenser to a user and to support the the dispenser leaving the hands of the user free, wherein the wearable element includes at least one flexible portion adapted to be connected to the user, wherein the dispenser is reversibly connected to the wearable support element by reversible connection means.

A stepless adhesive film dispenser includes a first tube and a second tube fitted on the first tube, and two operating rings are respectively fitted on the circumferential side of the first tube and the second tube and able to rotate freely along the outer circumferential side of the first tube and the second tube. Thus, an adhesive film reel fitted on both the first tube and the second tube can be restrictedly positioned by the operating rings, which can be rotated together with the adhesive film reel. By so designing, when the stepless adhesive film dispenser is used, a user's hands that hold the first tube and the second tube can be avoided rubbing against the adhesive film reel, hence facilitating operation and use of the stepless adhesive film dispenser.

A plastic wrap securing bracket includes a first leg plate, a second leg plate, a back plate, and an elongated prong. The bracket has a substantially U shape and is designed to grip an end portion of a runner or block of a wood pallet. The elongated prong is designed to receive and secure a bunched-up end portion of a roll of plastic wrap therein to permit a single user to unroll the roll of plastic wrap around articles on a wood pallet using both hands.
