A universal bag splitting device includes a rod assembly with an adjustable length, a cutting blade attached to a surface of the rod assembly, and interchangeable brackets connectable to first and second ends of the rod assembly. The interchangeable brackets are configured to maintain a position of the rod assembly when the universal bag splitting device is in use.
Systems, apparatuses, and methods of substance processing
A substance processing system includes a pressurizer configured to pressurize air and a processing chamber configured to process a substance. The system also includes a heat exchanger coupled between the pressurizer and the processing chamber. A nozzle is coupled to the processing chamber such that output from the nozzle comprises a substantially even pressure distribution.
USED CAPSULE DISPOSAL ASSEMBLY
A capsule opening assembly for opening a used capsule is provided. The capsule body has an opening and extends about a longitudinal capsule axis, defining a chamber closed by a lid. The assembly includes a used capsule cutting device having a knife or cutting blade; a used capsule blocking device grasping the used capsule in a predetermined position defining a locking seat and leaving exposed the capsule opening closed by the lid; a used capsule moving device having a carriage supporting the used capsule blocking device. The carriage moves the used capsule blocking device with respect to the used capsule cutting device. Relative movement occurs along a predetermined path including at least one linear stretch directed along a direction parallel to or coincident with the longitudinal capsule axis. The knife, during movement along the linear path stretch, cuts a lid portion along a predetermined line to open the capsule chamber.
Unpacking system for an object, in particular a pharmaceutical or cosmetic object, packed in an item of packaging, in particular a pouch
An unpacking system having a folding-out device for folding outwards an initially folded-in packaging portion of an item of packaging for an object, and having a stretching device for stretching an item of packaging for an object. The item of packaging herein is in particular a pouch, and the object is in particular a pharmaceutical or cosmetic object. The unpacking system furthermore has a transportation installation for transporting the object in a transportation direction. The packaging portion in the stretching device is stretched parallel with the transportation direction. A filling system is disclosed having such an unpacking system, and methods are disclosed for folding outwards, for stretching, and for unpacking.
A SEAL REMOVAL STRUCTURE
A seal removal structure can include a shell and a piercing member. The shell can have a first end section and a second end section. The first end section can be configured to receive a supply conduit of a supply fluid container and the second end section can be dimensioned to receive a receiving conduit of a container device. Additionally, the piercing member can be provided within the first end section to penetrate a seal of the supply conduit when the supply conduit is received by the first end section. Moreover, the piercing member can incise at least a portion of the seal from the supply conduit when the supply conduit or the piercing member rotates, while the supply conduit is received by the first end section.
Apparatus for emptying a container and method of use
An apparatus for emptying a container including a body unit, a container platform, a cutting blade, and a hold-down assembly. The body unit at least partially defines a chamber, and the container platform is configured to support a container. The cutting blade is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The cutting blade is located within the chamber when in the extended position. The cutting blade is configured to puncture a container positioned on the container platform as the cutting blade goes from the retracted position to the extended position. The hold-down assembly is configured to secure a container positioned on the container platform. The hold-down assembly is oriented such that a bracket and a shaft of the hold-down assembly are fixed relative to the body unit when an adjustable strut of the hold-down assembly is in a locked strut configuration.
UNIVERSAL BAG SPLITTING DEVICE
A universal bag splitting device includes a rod assembly with an adjustable length, a cutting blade attached to a surface of the rod assembly, and interchangeable brackets connectable to first and second ends of the rod assembly. The interchangeable brackets are configured to maintain a position of the rod assembly when the universal bag splitting device is in use.
Pill dispensing apparatus for use with blister pill packages
A pill dispensing apparatus for use to dispense a pill from a blister package includes a base assembly having an interior cavity formed by an upper plate coupled to a lower housing, the upper plate having an opening and partially extending over the lower housing to form a spout in the lower housing, an arm pivotably mounted to the base assembly and having a post protruding downward toward the base assembly, and a spring coupled to the arm and upper plate of the base assembly. The apparatus is designed to receive the blister package between the base assembly and arm. Pivotal movement of the arm toward the base assembly allows the post of the arm to push the pill in the blister package through the opening in the upper plate of the base assembly. This allows the pill to travel in the base assembly's internal cavity and out the spout.
Apparatus and process for removing substances from pre-filled containers
A system (10) for removing a pipettable substance from a pre-filled container (20), which is closed off by a lid (30) having at least one opening area (40), comprises an opening tool (100) having a tube (110), which has a cross-section corresponding substantially to the shape of the opening area and which comprises at a distal end (120) an endpiece (140) extending substantially obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis of the tube, which moves a part of the lid (30) located inside the opening area (40) towards the container when the opening tool is applied, so as to form an opening in the lid, and a point of attack (150) for a transporting tool (200). The opening tool (100) is designed to remain on the container (20) after use. Moreover, the system comprises a transporting tool (200) for moving the opening tool (100) through the lid, and a cannula (250), which is adapted to be inserted over at least part of its length through the tube (110) into the interior of the container (20), in the position of use of the opening tool (100), and one end of which can be connected to a suction device (300) for sucking a pipettable substance out of the interior of the container (20).
Filling device
A filling device for decanting material from a flexible bulk material container is provided. The filling device has a hollow body that has an upper opening face and a lower opening face. The upper end of the hollow body projects into the interior of the flexible bulk material container so that material from the flexible bulk material container can enter the hollow body via the upper opening face. At the lower end of the hollow body there is a closure that has an upper plate and a lower plate. The lower plate can be pivoted about the axis of a bolt from a first position in which it completely closes the opening of the upper plate to a second position in which the opening of the upper plate is at least slightly open. The lower plate has a structure that forms at least part of the standing face.
