GOLF INSTRUCTION METHOD, APPARATUS AND ANALYTICS PLATFORM
A golf instruction method, apparatus and analytics platform for determining the state of a putted golf ball relative to a target using information about the golf ball and external variables and remotely displaying the same, comprising a base unit, a mobile device or terminal, and an associated computer program including an analytics engine for analyzing a user's performance. The computer program determines whether and how a putted golf ball has missed said target and then stores, aggregates and displays that information for a user. The analytics engine is operable to aggregate data, analyze data and then correlate a user's actual skill proficiency to ball performance.
Portable basketball shooting machine
A shooting system includes a collapsible ball capture support adapted to support a ball capture device and a ball return. The ball return detects a ball captured by the ball capture device and returns the ball to a user in response to the detected ball. To return the ball to the user, the system identifies a location of the user with respect to the shooting system, orients the ball return toward the user, and accelerates the ball along a trajectory based on a distance between the user and the shooting system.
Golf Shot Alignment System
A golf shot alignment system assists a golfer to align a golf club face towards a selected target. The golf shot alignment system comprises a target selection device which is remote from a golf club mounted indicator device which is mounted on a golf club having the golf club face. The target selection device can communicate wirelessly with the golf club mounted indicator device so as to provide target information from the target selection device to the golf club mounted indicator device. The golf club mounted indicator device uses the target information which it receives to determine when the golf club face is aligned towards the selected target and then indicates this to the golfer.
Physical exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus is provided that allows the user to assist the force applied with one arm or leg by exerting force from another appendage, without the use of complex mechanical linkages. The apparatus may also be reconfigured to accommodate the user in a wide variety of positions.
SMART WALL PULLEY FOR FITNESS
A smart wall pulley for fitness includes an elastic rope, a motion sensing detection device, a fixed pulley assembly and an adjuster. The elastic rope is elastic. The motion sensing detection device is provided at one end of the elastic rope. The adjuster includes a shell and a winding post located within the shell, the other end of the elastic rope passes into the shell, then is wound around the winding post, then passes out from the shell, and then is fixedly connected to the shell after being wound around the fixed pulley assembly.
ADAPTIVE ATHLETIC ACTIVITY PRESCRIPTION SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for prescribing athletic activity to be performed by a user, and for adapting the prescribed athletic activity based on completed (e.g. ongoing) athletic performances by the user. A coaching plan may be automatically created that prescribes personalized athletic activities as a user trains towards a goal date. The athletic information may be received from one or more sensor devices associated with a user, and the coaching plan may be continuously or intermittently updated based on the received sensor data.
Systems and methods for minimally intrusive displays with heart rate monitoring and workouts
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a display system and a sensor system configured to provide for a sensor data. The MIDS further includes a processor configured to download a workout and to process the sensor data to monitor a user wearing the MIDS during the workout. The processor is further configured to display, via the display system, a workout progress based on the monitoring.
Analysis apparatus, analysis method, and recording medium
Provided is an analysis apparatus including an acquisition unit that acquires vibration data showing a vibration generated in a first object by having a second object come into contact with a first position on the first object, a first analysis processing unit that specifies the first position by comparing a vibration characteristic shown by the vibration data, and a vibration characteristic defined for each position where the second object may come into contact with the first object, and a second analysis processing unit that estimates a velocity after the contact of the second object based on a velocity of the first object and the first position.

Tennis racket sensor system and coaching device with ball machine integration
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems, and methods for measuring values obtained from one or more sensors installed on a player's tennis racket and/or worn on the player's body, and using those values to calculate various parameters, such as the physical position and motion of the tennis racket. Embodiments may translate the parameters and derive one or more occurrences corresponding to phases of a tennis point or drill and then generate real-time audible, visual, and/or haptic coaching prompts and other related commands and signals, for the purpose of improving a player's motor skills. Embodiments may also send and receive messages to/from other embodiments, thereby permitting a player to interact with other players, coaches, or devices, such as ball machines and cameras.
