The four rollers are each mounted to a drive shaft/axle which includes bevel gears which are meshed so that all four rollers rotate in simultaneous, synchronic rotation through the actuation of a pneumatic air gear motor (57).
Multiple channel single spike for a liquid dispensing system
A spike for dispensing fluids from a flexible bag, wherein the spike includes multiple fluid channels which transfer liquids from the bag to an enclosed dispensing chamber and air from the enclosed chamber to the bag to permit and control fluid flow within the system.
BAG OPENING DEVICE
The subject of invention is a device (1) for opening bags, in particular bags containing loose materials, consisting of sharp-pointed elements (6) mounted in at least one row and fixed on at least one profile (5), characterized in that the sharp-pointed elements (6) are shaped like an arrowhead and the ends of at least one profile (5) are in which they are embedded are attached to the perimeter of the lower frame (2) of the device (1), with a movable frame (3) placed above the lower frame (2), movably connected to the lower frame (2) by means of pins placed at the corners of the frames (2, 3) and a locking mechanism (4), and containing at least one profile (7) with a hole adapted to the dimensions of the sharp-pointed elements (6) and positioned over the profile (5) with the sharp-pointed elements (6), the device (1) further comprises handles (9) attached to the lower frame (2).
FLEXIBLE CONTAINER, BULK BAG AND MATERIAL DISCHARGE ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a flexible container. In an embodiment, the flexible container incudes an outer bag and a liner positioned within in the outer bag. The liner substantially corresponds to the outer flexible bag. The outer bag and the liner each include (i) a body having a sidewall, (ii) a top panel, and (iii) a bottom panel. The sidewall has a height, a top end, and an opposing bottom end. The top panel extends from the sidewall top end and an inlet extends from the top panel. The bottom panel extends from the sidewall bottom end and an elongated discharge spout extends from the bottom panel. The outer bag elongated discharge spout and the liner elongated discharge spout each have a length from 0.40 times to 1.0 times the height of the respective outer bag sidewall and the liner sidewall. The present disclosure also provides a material discharge assembly for removing flowable granular material from the flexible container.
Bag Opening System
A system and apparatus for opening and emptying a bag of material includes a base having a pair of opposed sides and a central aperture through which material may flow. The system includes a pair of opposed doors rotatably mounted on a pair of door shafts, the edges of the pair of opposed doors forming an opening and a plurality of piercing blades pivotally mounted to the base on a pivot rod, the blades capable of pivoting to pierce said bag. The system further includes a cutting blade mounted transversely below the opening of the opposed doors, the cutting blade capable of linear motion across the opening.
LINER WITH LIFTING CRADLE
A liner (10) includes a liner base (11) and a cradle (12) which is used in conjunction with a conventional intermediate bulk container (13). The liner base has a bottom wall (15), a top wall (16) opposite the bottom wall, and four side walls (17) extending between the bottom wall and top wall. The four side walls include a front wall (18), a rear wall (19), and two oppositely disposed end walls (20). The top wall includes a top opening fitment (22). The front wall includes a dispensing opening fitment (23). The liner lifting cradle includes a bottom panel (26), two oppositely disposed end panels (27), and a rear panel (28). The end panels have an elongated terminal end (30) which includes a reinforced mounting hole (32). The rear panel has an elongated terminal end (34) which includes a grommet (35) defining a reinforced mounting hole (36).
Discharge assembly
A discharge assembly has a flexible bulk container having a base and an outlet channel extending from the base and having an outlet at one end through which product is to be dispensed. The discharge assembly has a seat onto which the base of the bulk container is seated for a discharge operation, and a vibration unit for selectively vibrating the seat. The seat includes an outlet region through which the outlet channel of the bulk container extends when seated thereon, and the seat is configured for the base of the container to overhang a periphery of the seat when seated thereon.
Disposable processing bag with alignment feature
The present invention is an alignment device for a bag containing one or more ports. The alignment device is attached to either the one or more ports or to the bag adjacent the one or more ports. The plate has an indicator or a unique outer edge shape that is designed to fit into a corresponding unique opening in a holder to ensure proper alignment of the bag and its port(s) in the holder. The plate is has a series of holes equal to and in alignment with the one or more ports of the bag and the port(s) extend through the holes of the plate.
BULK ADHESIVE TRANSFER DEVICES, KNIFE GATE VALVE DEVICES, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A bulk adhesive transfer system for transferring adhesive particulate to a melter includes a bulk supply and a transfer device, which may define a hopper of the melter, a mobile bin, and/or a buffer unit. The transfer device is configured to receive unmelted adhesive particulate from the bulk supply and then be selectively docked with the melter to transfer the adhesive particulate to the melter. The bulk adhesive transfer system may also include a knife gate valve device, which includes a plurality of ports that sequentially open and close to control flow of the adhesive particulate towards the melter.
