A conveying mechanism conveys a hub to a camera identification module to determine a hub model, a printer can print multiple models of bar code or two-dimensional code labels and can automatically print a bar code or two-dimensional code label according to the wheel model, and the bar code or two-dimensional code label can be automatically pasted to a specified position according to the wheel model, so that automatic identification of the wheel model, automatic printing of the label and automatic pasting of the label are achieved, personnel participation is reduced, the production efficiency is improved, and customer complaints are reduced.

High speed dual label applicator

A labeling system includes a frame component pivotal between a label load position, a first label apply position and a second label apply position. A vacuum applicator is carried on the frame component for movement with the frame component. A first actuator is configured for pivoting the frame component between the label load position and the first label apply position. A second actuator is configured for pivoting the frame component from the label load position to the second label apply position. The second label apply position is located between the label load position and the first label apply position. The labeling system can be used to apply one label to the leading side of an item moving along a conveyance path, and to apply another label to the lateral side of the same item.

A robotic labeling system includes a package locating system, a package identification system having a scanning device configured to scan an identification tag on the package to identify an orientation of the package in the labeling station, and a label application system including a label printer and a label applicator. The label printer prints at least one label for the package. The label applicator includes a multi-axis robot having an arm movable in three-dimensional space. The label applicator has a portrait end effector coupled to the arm configured to transport the label from the label printer to the package in a portrait orientation. The label applicator has a landscape end effector coupled to the arm configured to transport the label from the label printer to the package in a landscape orientation. The label applicator is operated based on the orientation of the package in the labeling station as determined by the scanning device.
