Racquet configured with increased flexibility in multiple directions with respect to a longitudinal axis
A racquet including a frame including a head portion, a handle portion, and a throat portion. The head portion is a tubular structure including inner and outer peripheral walls, each having inner and outer surfaces. The head portion of the racquet being formed of a fiber composite material. The fiber composite material includes a plurality of ply arrangements. Each includes a pair of plies defining first and second angles with respect to a composite axis. A section of the outer peripheral wall from the inner surface to the outer surface includes at least three ply arrangements overlaying each other, and the first and second angles of at least two of the at least three ply arrangements being at least 35 degrees. When the racquet is tested under a racquet torsional stability test, the racquet has an angular deflection of less than 5.5 degrees about a longitudinal axis.
RACQUET CONFIGURED WITH INCREASED FLEXIBILITY IN MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS WITH RESPECT TO A LONGITUDINAL AXIS
A racquet including a frame including a head portion, a handle portion, and a throat portion. The head portion forms a hoop that defines a string bed plane. The head portion of the racquet being formed of a fiber composite material. When the racquet is tested under a racquet forward/rearward bending test, the racquet has a forward/rearward deflection with respect to the longitudinal axis of at least 8.5 mm when measured in a direction that is perpendicular to the string bed plane and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
A racquet extending along a longitudinal axis and including a frame including a head portion, a handle portion, and a throat portion. The head portion forms a hoop that defines a string bed plane. At least the head portion and the throat portion of the frame are formed at least in part of a fiber composite material. When the racquet is tested under the racquet lateral bending test, the racquet has a lateral deflection of at least 6.0 mm when measured in a direction that is parallel to the string bed plane and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
MULTI-MATERIAL GOLF CLUB HEAD
Golf clubs heads having a forward portion located at a front side of the golf club head and an aft portion located rearward of the forward portion and joined to the forward portion. The front portion incudes a forward joint section and the aft portion includes an aft joint section. The aft portion also includes an aft rib attached to an interior surface of the aft portion, the aft rib extends, from an interior surface of the aft joint section, in a direction away from the striking face. The golf club head may also include a crown the crown having an areal density of less than 1000 g/m.sup.2 and made from a structure comprising an inner layer, a middle layer in contact with the inner layer, and an outer layer in contact with the middle layer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REPOSITIONABLE MINIMALLY INTRUSIVE DISPLAYS
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a battery system configured to provide power for the MIDS, a display system, and a processor communicatively coupled to the display system and configured to display information to an eye of a wearer of the eyewear via the display system. The display system is disposed inside a space bounded by a first vertical line that bisects the eyewear and a right line or a left line that extends no more than 40 mm from the first vertical line.
Interactive electronic table tennis game
An interactive electronic table tennis game is provided that has a table having first and second table portions that are foldable. There are first and second table portions that are structurally the same, and the second table portion has a flat top that is made of a hard material that is clear, transparent, or translucent such that light can pass through the hard material. The flat top is mounted on a frame that defines a plurality of compartments and lights or light emitting diodes that are positioned in the compartments. The frame also supports electronics. The electronics have audio pickups, converter microcontrollers, and a table tennis game computer. When a ball hits the first and second table portions light is emitted by the LEDs in that compartment. This makes the interactive electronic table tennis game fun to play and fun to watch, because everyone can see where the ball impacts.
Muscle stimulation device
A vibration apparatus and an associated motor assembly attached to a glove or wrap for a body part to stimulate muscle activity in the area of application. The apparatus is capable of generating vibrations of various amplitudes at the same frequency or within a defined frequency range. The device causes vibration in a limb to which it is attached, such that muscle that are not normally utilized in a single range of motion activity are activated. The mechanism creating the vibration may an eccentric rotating mass vibration motor assembly attached to a glove or wrist support. Use of the device with fitness equipment provides an individual with the benefits associated with vibrational motion such as increased muscle use with a single exercise motion and increased muscle memory during use with sports activities.
EXERCISING DEVICE FOR STIMULATING DEEP MUSCLES AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE EXERCISING DEVICE
An exercising device for fitness training includes a main body forming a container, and a first end and a second end. The main body defines a length between the first end and the second end. The container has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a substantially hollow cylindrical shape with a cross-section which varies between the first end and the second end such that the outer surface and the inner surface define a waveform. A first cover is detachably arranged on the first end and a second cover is detachably arranged on the second end. The container can be filled with a liquid which causes the exercising device to vibrate when it flows through the main body at varying speeds. In addition, a method for operating the exercising device is provided.
Basketball performance monitoring system
A basketball performance monitoring system comprising a local microprocessor in communication with a remote computational system. At least one sensor is coupled to the microprocessor. The at least one sensor is coupled to a basketball goal and is configured to sense at least one of an attempt to score a goal and a successful goal. A first display is coupled to the microprocessor and a second display is coupled to the remote computational system.
Exercise apparatus
A body exercise apparatus comprising: a torso band; at least one first protuberance member disposed on the torso band; an appendage band; at least one second protuberance member disposed on the appendage band; at least one first sensor associated with the torso band; at least one second sensor associated with the appendage band; at least one resistance cable having one end removably attached between the at least one first protuberance member and the at least one second protuberance member.
