Semi-automatic syringe label applicator
A label applicator for applying a label to a cylindrical portion of an object may comprise a roller and a label handler, with the roller rotating the object to which the label is being applied and the label handler separating a label from its backer and extending the label towards the object being rotated by the roller. The distance between the label handler and the object rotated by the roller is less than a length of the label. The label applicator may further comprise a printer, such as a thermal transfer printer, which may be configured to print labels for a plurality of objects to which different labels are applied consecutively.
Self-strip media module
A self-strip media module in a printer is provided. The self-strip media module includes a peel bar having a length at least as great as the length of a platen roller and being rotatably engaged at the ends of the platen roller. The media includes a series of labels adhered to a liner. The media is fed over the peel bar and between the platen roller and a mid-chassis. The peel bar may be rotated towards the discharge side of the platen roller, pulling the media over the platen roller and over itself. A thermal print head is lowered onto the media over the platen roller and to print on the labels. The printer advances the media over the peel bar. The labels are stripped from the liner when the media advances around the peel bar.
Labelling machine with winding device for a carrier film
A labelling machine with a labelling device, which has a feeder unit for feeding a backing strip, which is provided with detachable labels, and a transfer unit for transferring the labels from the backing strip onto an object that is to be labelled. The labelling machine further has a winding device for winding a section of the backing strip from which labels have been detached, containing at least one guidance unit with a guidance element, along which the backing strip section can be guided in a direction of transport, and a winding unit, which is mounted downstream of the at least one guidance element, and includes fixing means, on which a free end section of the backing strip section can be fixed, whereby the fixing means are arranged on a winding core that can rotate about an axis of rotation, and follow a rotational movement of the winding core.
Labelling machine
A labelling machine comprising a supply spool support (12) adapted to receive a supply spool (28), a takeup spool support (14) adapted to form a takeup spool (32) of web (30) from which at least some labels (74) have been removed, a motor (40) arranged to turn the takeup spool, and a controller to control operation of the motor. A web path (16) is defined between the supply spool and the take-up spool, and the controller is arranged to control the motor to turn the take-up spool so as to cause controlled predetermined linear movement of a web along the web path and onto the take-up spool, furthermore comprising a sensor (50) operable to sense linear displacement of the web and/or displacement of the web in a direction other than the direction of the web, a printer (34) movable between a first position and a second position, and a separator surface (24) comprising a first portion inclined relative to the web path.
PRINTER DEVICE
A printer device in which a backing paper from which a label is peeled off after printing can be easily set in a conveyance path provided at a bottom of the printer device when replacing a label paper. A label printer includes: a peeling roller and a peeling pinch roller that interpose and wind the backing paper after the label is peeled off; a peeling cover portion provided at the bottom of the printer device, holding the peeling pinch roller to be pressed against the peeling roller by supporting the peeling pinch roller and rotating the peeling cover portion around a rotation shaft perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the backing paper;
and a protruding portion and a magnet that holds the peeling cover portion at a label paper replacement position.
Labeling station in labeling machines for pre-adhesive labels
A labeling station in labeling machines for pre-adhesive labels, including a feeding assembly with unwinding rollers of a respective spool of backing tape with adhesive labels applied thereto and at least one assembly for applying the labels which has a peeling device located proximate to the containers to be labeled and adapted to separate the individual labels from the backing tape for application, and at least two mutually composable parts, respectively a first part, which includes a first support which forms a first worktable, on which the application assembly is mounted, and a second part, which includes a second support, on which at least the feeding assembly is mounted. The feeding assembly further includes a splicing system for joining the backing tapes which are unwound from the unwinding rollers and a group of dandy rolls, while at least one first redirection roller is mounted on the first worktable.
