Simulating real-world terrain on an exercise device
A system may include a receiving module and a conversion module. The receiving module may be for receiving location data associating video data depicting a real-world route with topographical location of the real-world route. The conversion module may be for creating an exercise program. The exercise program could include control signals representing changes to be made to one or more operating parameters of an exercise device as the video data depicting the real-world route is displayed to a user of the exercise device. The control signals may be based at least in part on the location data. The changes to the one or more operating parameters may correspond at least in part to one or more aspects of the real-world route.

The system is further operable to provide the coach user rights for providing corrective or instructive feedback to the user, including visual recommendations such as modified target areas.
GOLF BALL TRACKING SYSTEM
A ball tracking system is disclosed which includes a display, sensors, a launch monitor and a processor that receives data from the sensors and launch monitors and outputs a rendering to the display. Specifically the sensors are positioned to detect a plurality of observed ball flight paths, each in the plurality originating from a different ball strike at a different location. The sensors field of view is correlated to three-dimensional space. The launch monitor is positioned to detect one of the ball strikes, and measures the launch parameters of that ball strike. The processor performs several processing steps to match the ball strike detected by the launch monitor to the ball flight paths observed by the sensors, and creates a rendering using both the predicted and observed data.
Computerized Exercise Apparatus
A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR GOLF PRODUCT RECONFIGURATION
A wood-type golf club head includes first and second ribs projecting from a bottom club head wall portion, the wall portion, the first rib, and the second rib forming an elongate recess defining a weight path. A weight element is translatable along the weight path and includes a first weight portion, a second weight portion, and a fastener, the first and second ribs each being interposed between the first weight portion and the second weight portion such that the first weight portion is located proximate the club head wall portion and the second weight portion is located distal the club head wall portion. The second weight portion has a contact surface that includes a recessed region, and when the weight element is in a secured position, at least a portion of the first weight portion is located within the recessed region.

A smart ball-machine uses artificial intelligence to train a player or to play with a player. For example, the ball-machine can adjust the tennis ball speed, topspin, bounce according to the player's successful ball return rate. The ball-machine can be preconfigured with a profile of a player. For example, the ball-machine may download a complete profile of a tennis player from a game recording, or may download a file with a customized profile of a player to train a player using the ball-machine. The ball-machine is equipped with a plurality of wheels, motors, and shafts to provide a fully customizable launch of one or more balls. For example, the ball can be launched from the machine from one side of a tennis court to another side of a tennis court with a variety of speeds, trajectories, topspin, bounce etc.
