Computerized exercise apparatus
A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
HYPERTHERMIC CONDITIONING CAPSULE
A self-contained, hyperthermic conditioning unit and selectively controllable environment for exercising. The unit comprises a base portion having a bed therein and a removable cover connected to the base portion to enclose a personal compartment within the unit. One or more heating elements provide heat to the personal compartment and one more pieces of physical exercise equipment are provided within the personal compartment.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CRICKET/BASEBALL GAME SCORING AND UMPIRING
A system for automatically scoring and umpiring a cricket or baseball game without human scorers or umpires. The system collects data from smart sports equipment and automatically updates the score and performs umpiring functions. The system synchronizes smart equipment used during gameplay, obtains sensor data from the smart equipment, performs signal processing and pattern recognition on the sensor data, and performs cricketing and baseball tasks. The system may detect tosses, detect calls, infer who won the toss, capture whether batting or fielding is chosen first, identify players, authenticate a valid field state to begin game play, identify the batsman taking guard, signal the commencement of the game, detect a valid ball that is bowled, track the scores, understand the end of an over and falling of wickets, and/or declare the winner. The system enables one to conduct and administer a large number of cricket or baseball games without human umpires.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR GOLF PRODUCT RECONFIGURATION
A computer program is disclosed for reconfiguring a property-adjustable golf club. The program receives data input corresponding to a current configuration of an adjustable feature of the golf club, and data input corresponding to trajectory adjustment information. Based on the data input, reconfiguration information is generated, and outputted, that corresponds to one of a plurality of configurations of the adjustable feature of the golf club.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BREATHING AND CORE MUSCLE TRAINING
Systems and methods for breathing and core muscle training with sensors and multi-sensory output are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: an input unit including a plurality of sensors; an output unit including a plurality of multi-sensory output devices; and a processing unit, in data communication with the input unit and the output unit, the processing unit being configured to: determine a prompted movement of a training program and use the output unit to prompt the user to perform the prompted movement; receive sensor data from the input unit, the sensor data corresponding to the user's physical movements and biomedical condition; configure the output unit to render a simulation of the user's physical movements in a virtual environment; score the user's physical movements relative to the prompted movement; and determine a next prompted movement of the training program and use the output unit to prompt the user to perform the next prompted movement until the training program is complete.
SMART TENNIS BALL MACHINE
A smart ball-machine uses artificial intelligence to train a player or to play with a player. For example, the ball-machine can adjust the tennis ball speed, topspin, bounce according to the player's successful ball return rate. The ball-machine can be preconfigured with a profile of a player. For example, the ball-machine may download a complete profile of a tennis player from a game recording or may download a file with a customized profile of a player to train a player using the ball-machine. The ball-machine is equipped with a plurality of wheels, motors, and shafts to provide a fully customizable launch of one or more balls. For example, the ball can be launched from the machine from one side of a tennis court to another side of a tennis court with a variety of speeds, trajectories, topspin, bounce etc.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Devices systems and methods are disclosed. Among other things, the devices systems and methods can facilitate ergonomic gripping of a handle; conform to the shape of a wrist; enhance golf techniques or performance; enhance racket sport technique or performance; protect a head of a user engaged in contact sports or other hazardous activities; identify concussions, in some cases in substantially real time; provide sterilization of garments; control surgical robots; allow for medical treatment of multiple subjects without disrobing; provide biometric or other data; and/or be used to train muscles or body parts for, for example, performing specified tasks using a body part.
SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMIC RESISTANCE TRAINING
Systems and methods for dynamic resistance training are provided that include the use of a dynamic force module. The dynamic force module includes an actuator and controller adapted to control the actuator according to a force profile that specifies the relationship between an operational parameter of the actuator and a measured parameter associated with a user performing an exercise. The dynamic force module is also capable of communicating with a broader network system to facilitate storing and distribution of force profiles and user profile information. The network system further includes features for, among other things, generating and managing force profiles, uploading multimedia content, and tracking user progress.
EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND EXERCISE EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SIMULATING EXERCISE ENVIRONMENT IN EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
The present application discloses an exercise equipment having a main body, a transmission, a driving wheel rotatably mounted on the main body, a driven wheel rotatably mounted on the main body and operatively coupled to the driving wheel through the transmission, an actuator configured to actuate a driving force applied to the driven wheel, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the actuator to actuate the driving force applied to the driven wheel based on a control parameter.
