Systems and methods for golf analysis including a tag coupled to a golf club providing statistical analytics for coaching including text, tabular, graphic, and image-based outputs that include trends information for the golfer, all based upon actual golf play on course situations, wherein the golfer inputs shot data during play, without interrupting the flow of the game, and uploads the shot data for analytics and review online, and wherein all information related to a given user are reviewable by an authorized coach user through a web-based coach access account. The system is further operable to provide the coach user rights for providing corrective or instructive feedback to the user, including visual recommendations such as modified target areas.

Method for playing golf comprising acquiring a striking position of a golfer; acquiring flag information of a golf flag, which flag information comprises a flag position of the golf flag and information relating to a hole belonging to the golf flag; acquiring an acceleration of the golfer or of a golf club; outputting an associated striking time when a magnitude of the acquired acceleration lies above a predetermined threshold value; acquiring the surroundings of the golf flag upon receiving the striking time; checking the arrival of a golf ball in the surroundings and determining and outputting an assessment, in particular a point value, on the basis of the flag information, the striking position and the determined location using a to stored assessment system.

An interactive exercise system includes a mechanical support system and a display module held by the mechanical support system. A force-controlled motor is attached to the mechanical support system and a reel is driven by the force-controlled motor. The interactive exercise system also has a handle graspable by a user and includes a cord extending between the reel and the handle. The handle or other accessory can be attached by a quick release mechanism. Force applied through the force-controlled motor is based at least in part on detected user force input.

A recommendation method based on an exercise status of a user includes an electronic device obtaining first exercise data of a user after running an exercise application. The first exercise data is used to reflect a type of exercise that is being performed by the user. The method further includes the electronic device determining a first exercise scenario corresponding to the first exercise data. The method further includes the electronic device obtaining first recommended content corresponding to the first exercise scenario. The method further includes the electronic device displaying the first recommended content in a display interface of the exercise application, or the electronic device playing the first recommended content when running the exercise application.

A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
