LABELING MACHINE WITH LABEL APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR RECYCLING THE CONTAINER
20220073229 · 2022-03-10 · ·

A labeling machine is presented for labeling containers by a continuous film strip suitably cut into labels, configured for fixing the label to the container by an adhesion fluid adapted to adhere the label to the container. The adhesion fluid is of the dissolvable type within a determined time sufficient to guarantee the function of applying the label to the container and/or removable through the use of suitable removal means.

A machine for labeling containers conveys, along an advancement direction, the labels to be applied, which have a transfer drum which is adapted to bring individual labels into contact with corresponding containers which are supported by a conveyor. A spraying assembly faces the transfer drum and is adapted to apply glue on the labels; the spraying assembly includes at least one spray gun which has a plate-like glue dispensing body which faces the lateral surface of the transfer drum and is passed through by a plurality of dispensing ports, which are arranged mutually spaced apart along at least one row which extends substantially parallel to the axis of the transfer drum; a controller is configured to actuate a slowing of the advancement speed of the labels with respect to the spray gun before actuating the activation of the spray gun for the application of the glue on the labels.

The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for applying labels to containers or packs, comprising the following steps: taking over a label from a label providing unit by means of a pallet such that a glue application surface of the label faces away from the pallet; conveying the label by means of the pallet past a glue application unit, where the glue application surface of the label has cold glue applied thereto, at least over part of its area; and, subsequently, directly transferring the glue-coated label to a container conveyed by a conveyer or to a pack conveyed by the conveyor.

Labeling apparatus for labeling receptacles and a method for operating such a labeling apparatus

The present disclosure relates to a labeling apparatus for labeling articles. In one implementation, the apparatus may include a transfer drum having at least one label retaining segment adapted to receive and to retain at least one label, a glue application unit adapted to apply glue onto the label, a cleaning unit adapted to clean the transfer drum and a control unit adapted to selectively activate the cleaning unit into at least any one of: a partial cleaning configuration in which the cleaning unit is configured to partially clean the at least one label retaining segment or a full cleaning configuration in which the cleaning unit is configured to fully clean the at least one label retaining segment.

A label application system for applying paper non-pressure adhesive labels to relatively short, round, straight-walled articles is constructed and designed so that labels to be applied to passing articles are delivered to the label application zone on a vacuum conveyor in a short feed orientation, with each label being oriented lengthwise across a width of the vacuum conveyor. At the time of labeling, the label is held stationary on a flat vacuum surface, and the label is applied by spinning the articles past the vacuum surface. As a result, the system is capable of labeling articles at processing speeds of up to or exceeding 800 articles per minute.
