METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION MONITORING OF A LABELING MACHINE AND LABELING MACHINE FOR LABELING CONTAINERS
A method for the production monitoring of a labeling machine, and a labeling machine for labeling containers, comprising a transport means for continuously supplying the containers, at least one labeling assembly for transferring labels to the containers, and at least one label store for continuously supplying labels, is described. Accordingly, the filling state of the label store and a machine performance of the transport means and/or of the labeling assembly are continuously measured and, on this basis, at least one remaining running time is calculated, which indicates how long labeling can still be carried out, at the filling state, in the case of an assumed further course of machine performance. The output of the remaining running time facilitates continuous production planning and enables efficient personnel use for the required replenishment of consumables.

LABELING MACHINE
A labeling machine, which includes a conveyor for conveying containers to be labeled and at least one labeling station provided with an unwinding assembly for a label ribbon on which a plurality of labels are printed in succession, and at least one drum which is provided, peripherally, with runners which have at least one relief portion, in relief with respect to the lateral surface of the drum; a spreading roller for spreading adhesive on the label ribbon; at least one of the runners has at least one contoured part in order to allow the application, by the spreading roller, on the portion of the label ribbon and/or of the labels that is on the contoured part, of at least one adhesive imprint which has at least one region without adhesive.
IN-LINE PRODUCTION OF LINERLESS LABELS
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of labeling a plurality of products includes coating a pressure sensitive adhesive to a roll of face stock, the roll of face stock configured to be converted to a plurality of individual labels aligned in a single lane; singulating an individual label from the roll of face stock; and applying the individual label to a product of the plurality of products, wherein the coating, singulating and applying are conducted sequentially in a single continuous operation with a single continuous web of material.

Machine and method for labeling containers
A machine and a method for labeling containers, the machine including a transfer drum, fed by an assembly for unwinding a labeling ribbon and provided with cutting elements, which is adapted to bring the individual labels, separated after cutting, into contact with corresponding containers which are supported by a conveyor; a roller for spreading adhesive faces the transfer drum and is designed to apply, to the labels that are present on the ribbon, at least one line of adhesive prior to their separation from the ribbon.
LABELING MACHINE
A labeling machine includes a conveyor to move containers to be labeled along an advancement path and at least one labeling station arranged along the advancement path. The labeling station includes an unreeling assembly for a label ribbon, on which multiple labels are printed in succession, and at least one drum designed to receive on its lateral surface the label ribbon or the labels obtained by cutting the label ribbon. At least one skid is arranged at the peripheral region of the drum and has at least one relief portion with the relief directed outward with respect to the remaining part of the lateral surface of the drum. At least one glue roller is arranged laterally to the drum. At least the relief portion of the skid is made of an elastically yielding material.
Machine and method for labeling containers
A machine for labeling containers, which includes a transfer drum, fed by an unwinding assembly for unwinding a labeling ribbon, which is provided with cutting elements which are mutually angularly spaced apart around an axis thereof; the unwinding assembly is drivable by control elements which are adapted to command, during the rotation of the transfer drum about its own axis, at least one variation of the feeding speed of the labeling ribbon, with respect to the peripheral speed of the transfer drum; the control elements are adapted to command at least one first slowing of the feeding speed of the labeling ribbon during the activation of the cutting device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING AND LABELING CONTAINERS
A system for labeling a container includes a label forming section, a buffer section, and a bonding section. The label forming section includes a first rotatable turret having a plurality of forming mandrels. The buffer section includes a second rotatable turret having a plurality of buffer receptacles. The bonding section includes a third rotatable turret having a plurality of bonding stations. The label forming section forms a label in a frustoconical shape using one of the forming mandrels and transfers the label to one of the buffer receptacles of the buffer section. The buffer section receives, in a buffer receptacle, the label followed by a container blank, and transfers the label and the container blank together to one of the bonding stations of the bonding section. The bonding section bonds the label to the container blank in the bonding station.
