Elongated object labeling device
11827408 · 2023-11-28 · ·

An elongated object label applicator has a driver operably connected to a wrapping mechanism. The wrapping mechanism has a plurality of guide rollers spaced about a central portion. A belt is tensioned around the guide rollers and across an opening in the central portion through which an object to labeled is received. The belt is deflectable against an elastic force such that the belt can be recessed with the central portion by a force provided by the object to be labeled. The wrapping mechanism is driven by the driver to rotate the guide rollers about an axis of rotation of the wrapping mechanism passing through the central portion. The wrapping mechanism orbits the object to be labeled located within the central portion.

SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING CARDBOARD BOX WITH ELECTRONIC TAG AND METHOD THEREFOR

A system of manufacturing a corrugated cardboard box to which an electronic tag is attached. The system includes: a corrugated cardboard sheet forming part that forms a corrugated cardboard sheet 14p; a blank forming part that forms a box blank 24p from the corrugated cardboard sheet; a folder gluer that assembles the box blank 24p into a flat plate-shaped corrugated cardboard box; a product stacker that stacks the flat plate-shaped corrugated cardboard box assembled in the folder gluer; and a tag sticking device that sticks the electronic tag having an adhesive portion to a surface that becomes an outer surface of a box as a workpiece by using the adhesive portion between the corrugated cardboard sheet forming part and the product stacker.

Device and method for labeling individual products

The invention relates to a device (1) for labeling individual products (2), comprising an advancing device (3) for transporting each product (2) in a transport direction (X), a label dispensing device (4) for dispensing a label, which can be removed from a material strip (5), from a discharge point (6) in a dispensing direction (S), and a label transporting device (7) with a movable label transporting means (8) for transporting the dispensed label (5) from a transfer region (9), where the dispensed label (5) is transferred to the label transporting mean (8), to a delivery point (10), where the label (5) is applied onto the respective product (2). The label transport means (8) has a surface (11) which is brought into contact with the label (5). The aim of the invention is to simplify the labeling of individual products (2) and apply the labels (5) as precisely as possible. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the device (1) additionally has a label aligning device (12) with a roller (13) which has a roller axis (14) that is parallel to the surface (11) of the label transporting means (8) and a lateral surface (15) that is arranged circumferentially about the roller axis (14). The roller (13) is arranged such that an imaginary straight line (G) running from the discharge point (6) in the dispensing direction (S) intersects the lateral surface (15). The invention further relates to a corresponding method for labeling individual products (2).

High speed labeler for large produce items

An automatic, high speed labeling machine is provided for applying individual labels to large and variable size produce items. The label strips used are much larger and heavier than known label strips used for small produce such as apples and pears. The increased weight causes label strip overrun when the labeler is paused and also causes slippage of the label strip. A label strip deflector is provided which causes the larger and heavier label strip to fold back on itself rather than to overrun and foul the application of labels. The drive rollers are modified to eliminate slippage of the heavier label strip.

Automatic labeling production line for solid state disk

An automatic labeling production line for solid state disk includes a production conveyor belt, a fixture disposed on the production conveyor belt and provided with a fixture code, and a loading mechanism provided with a product scanning mechanism detecting the memory and marking out a first defective memory, a first fixture scanning mechanism, a first and a second recycling mechanism recycling a defective memory, an automatic labeling mechanism, a visual inspection mechanism, a second fixture scanning mechanism identifying the fixture code, and an unloading mechanism unloading the memory which are arranged along the production conveyor belt in turn. The first fixture scanning mechanism scans the fixture code and records the original code and the corresponding fixture code. The visual inspection mechanism detects the memory and marks out a second defective memory. Thus, the production line is simplified, automatic labeling for memory is achieved, and the label process is more flexible.

Systems and methods include an assembly for a label wrapper to adhere a label to an elongated object, such as a wire. The assembly can include a roller having a roller axis and a compliant block with a notch. The notch can be parallel with the roller axis. The compliant block and the roller can be biased toward each other, and when the elongate object is received between the roller and the compliant block, a pressure can be applied to the elongate object whereby the compliant block at least in part conforms to the elongate object.
