METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LABEL APPLICATION
Label application system and method for applying labels to packages of various sizes and shapes, adaptable for use in a wide range of facilities. The system comprises a gripper for retrieving the label, wherein the gripper releasably and minimally contacts the adhesive side of the label. The system further comprises one or more applicators for firmly applying the label to the package. Movement of the gripper and/or applicators is controlled by a servo-actuated delta-type robot.

A method for printing and applying labels comprises printing indicia on a first label using a printer to form a first printed label and holding the first printed label in a holding tray. The method includes moving an arm from an original position to a first position to collect the first printed label from the holding tray, and rotating the arm in a first direction to move the first printed label towards a substrate. The method comprises moistening the first printed label to activate a dissolvable liner of the first printed label. The method includes using the arm to apply the moistened first printed label to the substrate. The arm is rotated in a second direction away from the substrate. The printer prints a second label before the arm returns to the original position to collect the second label from the holding tray.

The present disclosure relates to the field of hub packaging technology, and specifically to an automatic hub labeling device and a production line. A conveying mechanism conveys a hub to a camera identification module to determine a hub model, a printer can print multiple models of bar code or two-dimensional code labels and can automatically print a bar code or two-dimensional code label according to the wheel model, and the bar code or two-dimensional code label can be automatically pasted to a specified position according to the wheel model, so that automatic identification of the wheel model, automatic printing of the label and automatic pasting of the label are achieved, personnel participation is reduced, the production efficiency is improved, and customer complaints are reduced.
LABEL APPLICATOR
A labeling device includes: a robot having articulated arms with arm sections that are articulated: together, to a robot base, and to a platform of a label pickup device. The pickup device has a base plate and a plunger. The plunger has a fixed portion mounted to the base plate and is not displaceable relative to the base plate in a longitudinal direction, has a portion that is movable in the fixed portion in the longitudinal direction toward the base plate to a retracted position, and has an end configured to pick up a label. A pressure regulator of the plunger breaks a negative pressure in the plunger. The plunger's fixed portion covers an opening of its movable portion in a gas-tight manner by of the when the movable portion in an extended position and which is not covered when in the retracted position.
LABEL APPLICATOR

The pair of guide surfaces of the restricting guide member includes front end portions that extend away from each other toward a downstream side of a conveyance direction of the food container. The front end portions are configured such that an angle formed by the pair of guide surfaces is changeable.

FLEXING LABEL APPLICATOR
A label applying system includes a conveyance path for moving an item in a conveyance direction, and a label applicator With an elongated label applying arm pivotably moveable between a label load position spaced away from the item and a label apply position in which a free end of the elongated label applying arm is moved into contact with the item. The elongated label applying arm is configured to be sufficiently flexible such that at least a label carrying portion of the elongated label applying arm bends, as it moves into contact with the item, for pressing a label against the item.

A bearing system is provided for supporting movement of the label applying arm, the bearing system including a first bearing having a first rolling surface engaged with a first external surface portion the label applying arm and a second bearing having a second rolling surface engaged with a second external surface portion of the label applying arm, wherein the first bearing includes a first rotational axis that extends at a first oblique angle relative to the conveyance direction, wherein the second bearing includes a second rotational axis that extends at a second oblique angle relative to the conveyance direction.
