11370208 · 2022-06-28 · ·

An applicator for die-cut parts, having a die-cut part strip with die-cut parts applied along a retaining belt, said parts having a carrier layer and an adhesive layer, the carrier layer being disposed between the retaining belt and the adhesive layer, and a punch head over which the die-cut part strip runs, where the die-cut parts running over the punch head face away from the punch head by their adhesive layer, and the die-cut parts can be pressed by means of the punch onto a surface.

Applicator apparatus and method

An applicator apparatus including an applicator pad (10) and an actuator (180) for positioning the applicator pad (10) in a desired position, the applicator pad (10) being attached to the actuator (180) by an attachment member (40), wherein the attachment member (40) enables articulation between the applicator pad (10) and the actuator (180).

STICKING APPARATUS

To provide a sticking apparatus capable of suppressing turning-up of an end of a sticking body. A sticking apparatus extrudes a sticking body from a tip in a protruding direction of a head member while moving the tip in a protruding direction of the head member along a target range, and sticks the sticking body to the target range. Extrusion speed of the sticking body becomes smaller than movement speed of the head member from a start of sticking of the sticking body with respect to the target range to a first time point, extrusion speed of the sticking body becomes larger than movement speed of the head member from the first time point to a second time point, and extrusion speed of the sticking body becomes smaller than movement speed of the head member from the second time point to sticking completion of the sticking body with respect to the target range.

LABEL APPLICATOR FOR VARIED SURFACES
20220185527 · 2022-06-16 ·

Subject matter described in this disclosure relates to a label applicator for varied surfaces. In some instances, the label applicator may include one or more elements that may adjust to individual package properties and may adjust from one package to the next. For example, in one aspect the label applicator may include a label-retaining surface that is nonlinear. In other examples, the label applicator may include a force attenuator that dampens compressive forces between the label applicator and the package. In a further example, the label applicator may include an articulating joint that permits pivotable adjustment when a label applicator contacts a package. In yet another example, the label applicator may include a magnetic coupling attaching the label applicator to an actuator to provide a breakaway and reattachment mechanism.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDICIA AVOIDANCE IN INDICIA APPLICATION
20220188558 · 2022-06-16 ·

Aspects herein provide a system, methods, and media for applying labels to objects without overlapping or obscuring existing labels or other indicia. In some aspects, an object in motion and labels or indicia on the object are visually identified using near real-time imaging and details of geometric characteristics are determined. An additional label is then generated, printed, and physically applied or attached to the object in motion so that the angle, placement, and orientation of the additional label matches or aligns with the existing labels or indicia, without overlapping or obscuring the existing labels or indicia.

LABEL APPLICATOR

A labeling device includes: a robot having articulated arms with arm sections that are articulated: together, to a robot base, and to a platform of a label pickup device. The pickup device has a base plate and a plunger. The plunger has a fixed portion mounted to the base plate and is not displaceable relative to the base plate in a longitudinal direction, has a portion that is movable in the fixed portion in the longitudinal direction toward the base plate to a retracted position, and has an end configured to pick up a label. A pressure regulator of the plunger breaks a negative pressure in the plunger. The plunger's fixed portion covers an opening of its movable portion in a gas-tight manner by of the when the movable portion in an extended position and which is not covered when in the retracted position.
