Putting Kit
20230201689 · 2023-06-29 ·

A putting kit for teaching, learning and practicing the art of putting comprises an inline putting frame that has various voids to accept golf tees. The golf tees may be in a raised position so as to define are more narrow passage way for both a golf ball and golf club head. By narrowing such passages, a golfer learns to make more refined a accurate club swings, such that the apex of the arc of the swing occurs directly at the back of the golf ball. A portable target or moveable golf cup allows for many golfers or students to practice upon the same green. A bubble level may be attached to the portable target to show a student the slope of the green. A ball firing mechanism may be aimed by use of the inline frame with the fired ball demonstrating the slope of the green.

Multiple Machine Remote Control Portable Automatic Ball Feeder
20230201690 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present invention is a ball feeding and throwing apparatus that is capable of feeding multiple ball throwing devices. The present invention feeds balls to each device at a constant rate and allows each ball feed to be independently controlled via a remote control. The present invention comprises a main hull, feeder modules, feeding tubes, and ball throwing devices. The main hull be an all-in-one system which feeds balls via the feeder modules at a constant rate. The feeder modules then transfer the balls through the feeding tubes to each of the multiple ball throwing devices where the balls are thrown towards an athlete.

The present invention allows a single coach to control a number of ball feeds remotely and independently. Thereby allowing a single coach to train a number of athletes at one time. Further, the training experience is improved as the coach is free to control the ball feeds remotely, placing the coach in close proximity to an athlete. The close proximity allowing improved communication, greater observation, and allows for hands on training and demonstration.

A marking system for a baseball bat includes a bat including a barrel extending along a central longitudinal axis, the barrel defining a minimal vibration region. The marking system also includes a sheet having a first edge, a second edge positioned opposite the first edge, a third edge positioned between the first and the second edges, and a fourth edge positioned opposite the third edge, the first edge having a first curvature and the second edge having a second curvature, the sheet adapted to at least partially encircle a portion of the barrel of the bat. Additionally, a first positioning feature is disposed on the sheet, and a first alignment feature is disposed proximate the first edge of the sheet. Furthermore, the first positioning feature may be configured to be positioned adjacent to at least a portion of the minimal vibration region.

Systems and methods for real-time data quantification, acquisition, analysis, and feedback

This disclosure relates to systems, media, and methods for quantifying and monitoring exercise parameters and/or motion parameters, including performing data acquisition, analysis, and providing scientifically valid, clinically relevant, and/or actionable diagnostic feedback. Embodiments may be related to systems, devices, methods, and computer-readable media for providing baseline-adjusted real-time feedback to a user. Embodiments may include determining a type of activity for the user. Embodiment may include receiving data from the one or more motion sensors indicating a time-dependent series of three axis acceleration data and three-axis orientation data. Embodiments additionally may include providing a graphical user interface with a real-time representation of the received data. The real-time representation may include a scaled representation of at least one dimension of the time-dependent series of three axis acceleration data and three-axis orientation data for at least one of the one or more motion sensors based on the updated baseline adjustment.

Systems and methods for integrating measurements captured during a golf swing

The present embodiments provide systems and methods for aggregating measurements captured by different technologies during a golf swing. By capturing measurements using different technologies, more accurate measurements may be provided to a user by selecting from the measurements, offsetting measurements based on the technologies used, and aligning measurements between devices. Further, by aggregating measurements received from different devices, additional features and functionality may be provided to the user that is absent from any one device used alone. Additionally, by storing the aggregated measurements, users, club fitters and instructors may access and leverage larger databases of measurements to better understand the user's golf swing and to provide better recommendations and instruction to the user.

A virtual reality (VR) system comprising a head-mounted display (HMD) and handheld controller set is enhanced to provide a more realistic end user VR experience, e.g., for boxing or other interactive training. In this approach, and in lieu of simply establishing a boundary area for the VR experience, the user also maps a position of a real-world object into a reference frame of the VR environment. This mapping is facilitated using the handheld controller itself, e.g., as positioned in a backwards-facing manner on the user's forearm. The real-world object is then simulated in the 3D VR environment as rendered by the VR HMD, and the user interacts with the real-world object (or its simulation) to provide a more enjoyable and useful interactive experience.

Fitness Device And Exercise Method For Generating Opposing Muscle Resistance

A fitness device contains a strap, a handle, and a plate. The strap is substantially inelastic and flexible. The plate is substantially rigid. The handle at least partially envelopes the strap. A method of exercising with such a fitness device is also described herein. Other fitness devices and other methods of use are also described herein.

SUSPENSION TRAINING SYSTEMS WITH MACHINE LEARNING CAPABILITIES

Suspension training systems include one or more bands, and one or more handles. The handles can be coupled to the bands, and transmit user-generated forces to the bands. The systems also include a force sensor that measures the user-generated forces acting on the bands, and a computing device that acquires and displays information relating to the exercise session. The systems can generate recommendations for future exercise sessions based on the acquired information, so that exercise sessions can be tailed to the specific needs and capabilities of the user.

Soft inflatable exosuit for knee rehabilitation

A soft-inflatable exosuit for knee rehabilitation is fabricated in two different beam-like structures (I and O cross-section actuators) and mechanically characterized for their torque performance in knee-extension assistance. The fabrication procedure of both types of actuators is presented as well as their integration into a light-weight, low-cost and body-conforming interface. To detect the activation duration of the device during the gait cycle, a soft-silicone insole with embedded force-sensitive resistors (FSRs) is used. In evaluation studies, the soft inflatable exosuit device is tested for its ability to reduce muscle activity during the swing phase of the knee. Using sEMG (surface electromyography) sensors, the rectus femoris muscle group of a healthy individual is recorded while walking on a treadmill at a constant speed, with and without the soft device.

Basketball training system

A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.
