SWIMMER PACING APPARATUS
The apparatus includes a light emitting pace rope positioned under water that shows where the swimmer should be to move at a selected pace. The LED rope includes a ribbon cable with ground, power and control wires. Equally space LEDs are attached to the ground and power wires along the cable. The cable and LEDs are received in a transparent plastic tube couplers are attached to the cable ends. The plastic tube is encased in transparent silicone. Ends of the LED rope are attached opposite pool end walls. A power supply is connected to a coupler. A micro-controller provided signals to the control wire which provides additional power to illuminate the LEDs one at a time at the selected pace. Additional LEDs are provided to continue the pace in the opposite direction.
Wearable batting tee system and use thereof
A wearable baseball tee having a tee device for holding a ball at a position away from the body of the user. The wearable baseball tee is configured to be worn on the body of a user and allows the user to swing a bat at the ball held away from the body of the user. The process of using the wearable baseball tee is also described.
Modular cable-based resistance workout device
Cable training devices are disclosed that are modular, lightweight, and portable. The disclosed cable training devices can be mounted to virtually any accessible surface or object via a modular mounting platform. The cable training devices include a base unit that is easily attachable to and removable from one or more modular spring plates that provide resistance. The base unit contains a reel or spool with a cable wound around it. Pulling on the cable is resisted by the attached modular spring plates, which each contain a coil or power spring. The modular spring plates can be added or removed from the base unit to vary the resistive force applied to the cable.
SHOULDER EXERCISE MACHINE
Shoulder exercising machines (machines) may be disclosed. Such machines might include an upper member, a lower member, and a resistance member. The upper member and the lower member may be slidingly engaged with each other. The resistance member may provide resistance with respect to the upper member sliding against the lower member. The resistance member may be at least one elongate elastic member with two opposing terminal ends. The upper member have a handle and an upper surface for supporting at least a portion of a forearm and/or a wrist of a user during exercises with the machine. The user may push or pull the handle, and slide the upper member with respect to the lower member while experiencing resistance due to the resistance member.
GOLF GLOVE WITH AIRFLOW VENTS
A golf glove comprising a front section and a back section comprising of leather, cotton or synthetic material, substantially covering the front and back of the hand, a vent 104 covered with a mesh 206 positioned between the thumb and the index finger, and an open vent 306 in the knuckle region of the back section resulting in exposing the knuckles.
TRAINING APPARATUS
A training apparatus for use inside a water pool is provided, along with a number of auxiliary devices and accessories that can be used therewith. The training apparatus comprises, at least in its operational state, a floating member made from material having density lower than water density at room temperature, and a support assembly comprising at least one sinking member with at least one suction cup configured to removably adhere the sinking member to a submerged surface of the water pool; and at least one elongated member connecting between the floating member and the at least one sinking member for fixing a position of the floating member with respect to said submerged surface.
DICE ANGLE GAME
A dice angle game is played on an apparatus that has a playing surface, at least one side wall, at least one barrier within the playing area, at least one demarcated scoring area, at least one enhanced scoring area of sufficient size for at least one die to enter, and a plurality of dice. The game is played by rolling a dice against a side wall and trying to have it land in a scoring area.
HARD-POINT FIXTURE FOR ATTACHING TO A TARGET SURFACE
A reservoir provided in a hard-point fixture is pre-loaded with a curable adhesive, where the reservoir is protected from the curing radiation. The fixture is placed on a target surface and the adhesive is extruded from the reservoir into a space between the fixture and the target surface. An irradiating device to cure the adhesive is provided in the fixture and activated to couple the fixture to the surface. Once the curing process is complete, the fixture is released from the placement system leaving the fixture affixed to the target surface.
HARD-POINT FIXTURE AND SYSTEM FOR ATTACHING THE FIXTURE TO A TARGET SURFACE
A hard-point fixture placement system places a fixture that is pre-loaded with a curable adhesive by mechanically extruding the adhesive between the fixture and a target surface to which the fixture is to be attached. The placement system includes an irradiating device to cure the adhesive. The hard-point fixture stores the adhesive in a reservoir that is protected from the curing radiation. Once the curing process is complete, the fixture is released from the placement system leaving the fixture affixed to the target surface.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR SPORTS TRAINING
An apparatus for holding in place a ball. The apparatus includes a vacuum generating device connected to one end of a flexible tubing, a hollow rod of adjustable length containing part of the flexible tubing, and a vacuum cup connected to an opposite end of the flexible tubing, such that vacuum applied to the vacuum cup holds in place a ball when a surface of the ball is contacted to the vacuum cup. A method of holding a ball in place includes generating a vacuum using a vacuum generating equipment, inserting a flexible tubing through a hollow rod, connecting one end of the flexible tubing to the vacuum generating equipment, connecting an opposite end of the flexible tubing to a vacuum cup, and placing a surface of a ball in contact with the vacuum cup, thereby holding the ball in place.
