The bottom wall portion includes: grounding portion, rising circumferential wall portion, movable wall portion, and recessed circumferential wall portion. The movable wall portion capable of rotating around the connection portion with the rising circumferential wall portion to move the recessed circumferential wall portion in up-and-down direction. The body portion includes straight cylindrical part connecting to the shoulder portion lower end and extending downward. The straight cylindrical part outer diameter is greater than or equal to 0.60 times the heel portion outer diameter and is smaller than the heel portion outer diameter.

Hot-Fill Container Having Vacuum Absorption Sections
20170334628 · 2017-11-23 ·

The present disclosure describes a hot-fill container for use with a hot-filling process. The container comprises vacuum absorption sections that resist partial collapse and uncontrolled deformation of the container's walls during the hot-filling process. The vacuum absorption sections are asymmetrically-formed and include respective edge portions and panel portions configured to deform and pivot about a linear part of the edge portions when a vacuum is created inside the container. The edge portions have a curvilinear part that is adapted to comfortably receive and engage a user's fingers during use of the container, making the container more user friendly. The vacuum absorption sections are arranged about the container's central longitudinal axis such that their respective panel portions substantially form the sides of a polygon when viewed in top plan view. The polygon appears to be inscribed within an otherwise circular container periphery.

Resin made container

A resin made container includes a spout portion to/from which a cap can be attached/detached, a shoulder portion continuous with the spout portion, a body portion continuous with the shoulder portion and a bottom portion continuous with the body portion and disposed at a lowermost part. A decompression absorption portion provided in form of a recess in the body portion includes a bulging area protruding to the outer side of the container.

Blow molding method, blow mold, and blow-molded container

A blow molding method includes a primary blow molding step that molds a preform (200) in a primary blow mold (300A) that includes a primary temperature control section (330) to obtain an intermediate molded article (202), a shrinkage step that discharges blow air from the intermediate molded article to shrink the intermediate molded article, and a secondary blow molding step that blow-molds the intermediate molded article (204) that has shrunken in a secondary blow mold that includes a secondary temperature control section (430) to obtain a final molded article. The primary blow molding step cools a first intermediate molding region of the intermediate molded article that follows a neck using a first primary temperature control section, and the shrinkage step shrinks a second intermediate molding region of the intermediate molded article of which the temperature is controlled by a second primary temperature control section.

Article with visual effect

A blow molded article having a body portion that includes one or more walls surrounding an interior space. The one or more walls have an article inner surface, an article outer surface, and a wall thickness. At least a portion of the one or more walls includes one or more effect structures each having an effect surface normal having an orientation. Further there is a first region including a plurality of first effect structures having a first Average Normal Orientation, a second region including a plurality of second effect structures having a second Average Normal Orientation which is different from the first Average Normal Orientation, and a visual effect resulting from the difference between the first Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the first region and the second Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the second region.

Container with closure cap and tamperproof ring

The invention relates to a container (1) comprising a container body (4), a closure cap (3), which can be crewed onto said body, and a tamperproof ring (2), which is connected to said cap by way of breakaway webs (10). The closure cap (3) has first driver elements (18), which extend in the axial direction and, when the container (1) is opened for the first time, act on second ramp-like driver elements (19) of the tamperproof ring (2) that extend in the axial direction, and thereby push the tamperproof ring (2) away from the closure cap (3). On a shoulder (6) of the container body (4) that surrounds the container opening, two grooves (22.1, 22.2), one arranged above the other, are provided for receiving and engaging element (23) of the tamperproof ring. The engaging means is engaged first, upper groove (22.1) before the container (1) is opened for the first time and, as a result of the interaction of the driver elements (18, 19) on both sides, is engaged in the second, lower groove (22.2) after the container (1) is opened for the first time.

DISPENSING CONTAINER

The present invention provides a dispensing container comprising a vessel, the vessel having: a formation and/or discrete element in or on the vessel which causes the centre of gravity of contents of the vessel to be positioned differently, when oriented in a lain-on-side attitude, from its notional position, in the absence of the formation or element in or on the vessel; an additional formation or discrete element in or on the vessel which, when the container is in the lain-on-side attitude, lifts at least a portion of the container away from a surface, wherein, when the container is in the lain-on-side attitude and has a first volume of content, the centre of gravity of the content biases the container to a first orientation, and when the container is in the lain-on-side attitude and has a second volume of content, the centre of gravity of the container biases the container to a second orientation, different to the first.
