OVERCAP ASSEMBLY
An overcap assembly includes an actuator having a first slot, a tab, and a spray passageway. A nozzle is in fluid communication with the spray passageway. A housing is also included having a notch to receive the tab during a non-actuation state and a first projection to be received by the first slot during an actuation state.
Beverage Container
The present disclosure relates to beverage container (10) that includes a lower vessel (12) having a lower vessel neck (16), an upper vessel (22) that is attached to the lower vessel neck (16) and is sized and shaped to hold a liquid therein, a removable cap (40) that is attached to the upper vessel (22), a vessel seal (42) that serves as a liquid- tight barrier between the interior of the upper vessel (22) and the interior of the lower vessel (12), and a tether (44) attached to the vessel seal (42) at one end and the removable cap (40) at the other end. When the removable cap (40) is twisted or removed, it pulls on the tether (44), which pulls and releases the vessel seal (42), thereby allowing liquid from inside the upper vessel (22) to enter the interior of the lower vessel (12).
Twist-off crown cap orifice with splintering protection
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a mouth piece for a bottle with a twist-off crown cap closure, wherein the mouth piece comprises a mouth piece body with a dispensing opening at the end; a closure thread for interaction with a twist-off crown cap in order to close off the dispensing opening so that it is liquid-tight, which closure thread comprises a plurality of thread protrusions arranged over regions of the circumference of the mouth piece body at a predeterminable thread pitch, protruding from the exterior side of the mouth piece body; a discontinuity running circumferentially around the mouth piece body, arranged between the dispensing opening and the closure thread and formed as a result of a tool during manufacture of the mouth piece in a transition region between two orifice jaws on the one hand, and a guide disc on the other hand; wherein an exterior end of the discontinuity is offset inwards relative to an exterior surface of the mouth piece body situated between axially adjacent thread protrusions. Likewise, embodiments of the present invention relate to a corresponding bottle, to a tool for producing a mouth piece for a bottle with a twist-off crown cap closure, and to a method for producing a mouth piece for a bottle with a twist-off crown cap closure.
LIGHTWEIGHT BASE FOR CARBONATED BEVERAGE PACKAGING
This disclosure provides generally container base designs for use in packaging carbonated beverages and new containers that incorporate the base design. It has been found that improved physical and mechanical properties such as good stress crack performance can be achieving while improved light weighting and potential cost savings. The particular base and container designs are generally applicable to carbonated soft drink (CSD) containers, and can be used with containers of any size and with any type of base form such as petaloid or champagne base forms.
CONTAINER WITH FOLDED SIDEWALL
A blow-molded container including a finish and a base portion. The finish defines an opening at a first end of the container that provides access to an internal volume defined by the container. The base portion is at a second end of the container opposite to the first end. The base portion includes a fold proximate to a sidewall of the container.
Resin container
There is provided a resin container including an upper surface portion, a side surface portion connected to the upper surface portion, and a bottom surface portion disposed on a side opposite to the upper surface portion and connected to the side surface portion. A round corner surface portion is formed to the side surface portion. A first folding deformation inducing portion is formed on the round corner surface portion. When the container is viewed from a side surface portion side such that a central axis of the container and the round corner surface portion overlap with each other, the first folding deformation inducing portion is oblique with respect to the central axis.
Container assembly and system and method thereof
A container assembly comprised of a sleeve can be provided so as to circumscribe an underlying container and fixedly coupled to the underlying container at one or more portions of the underlying container. The container can have sidewalls with a surface geometry or geometries that prevent or make difficult the application of either a pre-printed pressure sensitive label or direct printing. Thus, the sleeve can have a decoration of label provided therein, while as the same time optionally allowing viewing access to the underlying container. The sleeve can be supported by the underlying container and may have a rigidity less than a rigidity of the sidewall(s) with the surface geometry of the underlying container.
Components for aerosol dispenser and aerosol dispenser made therewith
A pressurized container usable for a pressurizable contain, such as an aerosol dispenser, an aerosol dispenser made therewith and preform therefor. The preform/container/dispenser has a neck at the top. The neck has upper and lower portions. The lower portion transitions into a shoulder, which flares outwardly. The shoulder, in turn, transitions into a sidewall. The lower neck portion/shoulder and/or upper part of the sidewall are cystallized. The invention also comprises a preform for making such a pressurizable container and an aerosol dispenser made therewith.
MOLDING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MODULAR INTERLOCKING ARTICLES
Described are a mold and molding process for manufacturing devices and containers that are scalable, modular, and lockable laterally and vertically with other like devices or containers. The mold is formed with a cup mold and top end mold sections specially designed to allow for molding and demolding a container with an undercut. The cup mold includes, on a vertical wall, one or more undercuts. Multiple undercuts may further form tongues with undercuts each of which forms a groove with undercuts on the molded article, and/or one or more grooves with undercuts each of which form a tongue with undercuts in the molded article. Molding and Demolding of the article with undercuts is further enabled by utilizing an improved method of molding said article with an undercut, and demolding said article from the mold once it is molded, by improvements to each stage of the molding process, including the preform stage, the conditioning station stage, the blow stage and the release stage.
CONTINUOUS BLOW MOULDING MACHINE, PREFORMS, SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A continuously rotating, non-symmetric preform feed, stretch-blow-moulding machine dedicated to the stretch-blow-moulding of containers from non-symmetric injection moulded preforms; the non-symmetric preforms including an integral handle extending from a first junction point to a second junction point on a body of the preform; the body of the preform and the integral handle constituted from the same material.
