Toner container having a base portion with a discharge opening and a hole

A toner container for use with an image forming apparatus is provided with a toner accommodating portion in which toner is accommodated; a base portion including a receiving opening for receiving the toner accommodated in the toner accommodating portion, a discharge opening for permitting discharge of the toner, received through the receiving opening, to an outside of the toner container, and a passage which is a passage extending from the receiving opening to the discharge opening and which is for permitting passing of the toner; and a shutter constituted so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis relative to the base between an open position where the discharge opening is exposed to the outside and a closed position where the shutter covers the discharge opening, wherein the passage extends in a direction in which the passage is inclined relative to the rotational axis so that the receiving opening is in a position where the receiving opening crosses the rotational axis and so that the discharge opening is in a position where the discharge opening does not cross the rotational axis.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING FLUID FROM A CONTAINER WITH A STACKED ARRANGEMENT OF CROSS-SLIT VALVES

A dispensing system may include a fluid container and a container receptacle. The fluid container may include a stacked arrangement of cross-slit valves through which a rigid projecting member of the container receptacle may be inserted through. Upon insertion of the rigid projecting member therethrough, fluid from the fluid container may flow into a tank of a 3D printing system through a dispensing channel of the rigid projecting member. The stacked arrangement of cross-slit valves acts a partial seal around the rigid projecting member, preventing fluid from leaking out of the fluid container from the outer surface of the rigid projecting member, while at the same time allowing ambient air to flow into the fluid container so as to backfill the partial vacuum created by the dispensing of the fluid from the fluid container.

The refillable drinking vessel comprises a bottle, a bottle fitting structure, a base plate, and a fluid control structure. The base plate forms a fluidic connection between the bottle fitting structure and a pressurized fluid source. The bottle fitting structure forms a fluidic connection between the bottle and the base plate. The fluid control structure automatically controls the flow of fluid from the pressurized fluid source through the base plate and the bottle fitting structure into the bottle. The fluid control structure senses when the bottle is near the base plate. The fluid control structure measures and controls the amount of fluid contained in the bottle.

Portable Container And Method Of Use

Bottles and containers and methods of use have been disclosed. In an aspect, the bottle comprises a body that includes a first end forming a first aperture and a second end forming a second aperture. The first aperture has a first diameter and the second aperture has a second diameter. The first diameter can be larger than the second diameter. The bottle further includes a first cap removably coupled to the first end of the body and a second cap removably coupled to the second end of the body.
