An examination of microwave oven-resistant sheets for heat-insulating foamed paper containers revealed that blisters occur in the containers in the course of microwave oven treatment. That is to say, the present invention addresses the problem of providing a sheet for heat-insulating foamed paper container such that no blisters occur during microwave oven treatment. The present inventors have found that the problem to be solved by the present invention can be solved by a method for producing a sheet for a heat-insulating foamed paper container, wherein an air gap of 150 mm or larger, a drawing speed of 65 m/minute or lower, and a polyethylene resin density of 923 to 930 kg/m.sup.3.

Dispensing package

A dispensing package for holding and dispensing food products, such as yogurts, frozen confections, custards, and the like, and may comprise a unitary, one-piece package body preferably comprising wicking-resistant, polymer-coated paperboard material which is liquid impermeable. Non-coated paperboard may alternatively be employed. The package body includes a sidewall having a generally elongated, downwardly and inwardly tapering configuration, and can include a crimped bottom. The sidewall is inwardly deformable so that inward deformation urges product within the package upwardly through the open mouth of the package for dispensing the product. The package can alternatively be configured with a flat bottom, and include a horizontal, bottom flex panel to facilitate deformation of the package for dispensing product. This embodiment permits the package to be readily positioned in a standing, upright orientation during consumption so that product does not inadvertently flow from the package.

The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final folded packages. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus packs the crumbled leaves into the cones, applies air bursts to pack the material within the cone, closes the wide top portion of the cone, and then runs a quality control check to ensure that the final filled cone meets preset specifications.
