Cylindrical container with pleated sidewall that converts into a serving bowl
A container for holding a product such as snack food, wherein the container is transformable from a cylindrical shape to a bowl shape adapted to hold and provide easy access to the product. The container has a pleated sidewall comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending rigid sidewall panels and pleats, with each sidewall panel connected to adjacent pleats by frangible lines extending in the longitudinal direction.
CONTAINER WITH PAPERBOARD OUTER LAYER AND THIN PLASTIC FOIL INNER LAYER
A container comprising a bottom and a sidewall extending upwards from the bottom and terminating at an upper free edge, said upper free edge of the sidewall forming an opening of the container, said sidewall and said bottom comprising an outer paperboard layer and a thin inner plastic foil layer, formed in a thermoforming operation, said upper free edge of the sidewall comprising a rim portion extending past the outer surface of the paperboard layer of the sidewall. The rim portion comprises a rolled up portion of an upper portion of the outer paperboard layer of the sidewall, said rolled up portion being covered by a portion of the thin inner plastic foil layer. In this way, a stiff upper rim is provided, while allowing the use of a very thin inner plastic foil layer.

Container with insulating features
A container for containing a cold fluid. The container includes a sidewall construct that includes an inner sidewall extending at least partially around an interior of the container, an outer sleeve attached to the inner sidewall, and a cavity defined between the inner sidewall and the outer sleeve. The container also includes a closed bottom defining a bottom of the interior of the container, and insulating features that include the cavity and a plurality of annular bands, each annular band of the plurality of annular bands includes a spacer that extends in the cavity from the inner sidewall to the outer sleeve. Adjacent bands define a respective pocket of a plurality of pockets in the cavity such that the insulating features maintain a desired temperature of the cold fluid.

Sleeve-shaped outer part, combination packaging container equipped therewith, and method for separating the combination packaging container
A sleeve-shaped outer part is formed from a blank cut that is wound to a sleeve and end sections are connected to one another in an overlap region. A predetermined separating region includes an actuator with a gripping section for the separation of separating sections located on both sides. The separating section, as seen in circumferential direction, is arranged so as to be laterally spaced apart by an offset with respect to the separating sections aligned to taper towards one another and an imaginary straight connecting line between them. A separate predetermined separating section is formed in the sleeve of the outer part between each gripping section end and the respective end of the separating sections. A combination packaging container includes a cup-shaped inner container having such an outer part and a method separates the predetermined separating region and the separation of the outer part from the inner container.

COATED PAPERBOARD CONTAINER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A COATED PAPERBOARD CONTAINER, AND CUP BOTTOM FORMING APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing a coated paperboard container includes: providing a coated paperboard bottom blank, the coated paperboard bottom blank comprising a paperboard substrate and a first barrier coating layer on a first outermost surface of the paperboard substrate; heating the coated paperboard bottom blank; shaping the heated coated paperboard bottom blank, thereby forming a peripheral skirt portion about a periphery of a bottom wall portion of the coated paperboard bottom blank; and sealing a coated paperboard sidewall to the first barrier coating layer of the peripheral skirt portion.

FOLDED PACKAGE AND METHOD OF FORMATION
The technology described herein generally relates to particular form of folded package and the method of forming that folded package. More particularly, using a folding tip and the application of vacuum pressure to a paper cone it is possible to achieve the formation of properly folded packages that may further include a core that is deposited axially along the length of the package.
